Hello, thank you for reporting these facts. I am sorry for the events that have taken place. Indeed, quite despicable people are not rejected by anyone because we need people to fill the games. While waiting for a more permanent solution in development, there is a mod to stop seeing messages from unwanted people. I don't really believe it but maybe this player could apologize to you.4 points

Today i had very unplesant experience in a game. A player named DoctorOrgans insulted me for the whole game just because I'm simply better player. He sees only 1 viable strategy and it is "follow me", "do what i say".. If you simply ignoring this toxic player he starts calling you "idiot" and other bad words. This is not first time but many many times. How this can be resolved? Am I the only player person who experienced such low IQ behaviour?3 points

Interesting, I encountered this player earlier and he was nice to me, but I only played one and probably did not catch on to his behavior tendencies. I would say Shyft_sierra and his smurf accounts rank as number 1 on toxicity scale. He makes JC look like an angel. It seems most people let Shyft sierra play despite his level of toxicity, but I would support hosts that ban him from their games.3 points

Military buildings should only be capturable below 50% health, maybe soldiers should attack rather than capture by default, and you should not be able to delete buildings (at least recently captured ones). Citizens should have a dismantle order where they harvest the resources of a building. There should be an axeman unit with more attack against buildings, an upgrade that gives spearmen a bonus against buildings, maybe an upgrade giving someone a torch ability and/or fire arrows for archers.2 points

I think democracy did set Athens apart. Furthermore, making democracy affect the Civic Center in some way makes a lot of sense. Though, I don't think it makes sense as a team bonus unless you call it something like "Exporting Democracy," which the Athenians did do throughout their empire, but then again I'd rather democracy be just a civ bonus. A team bonus has to be naval-based. Their empire was a maritime empire after all. I know that makes them less desirable as a team mate on a land map. It's hard to justify anything else without a bit of stretching, so you have to allow for that.1 point

Cheers, this player is handicapped, he can only communicate in this way, it is his way of existing and of inviting you to play as he would like to play in your place. We have to accept it and be handicapped friendly.1 point

There are indeed a few such players. Unfortunately there is no way how to ask lobby moderator to punish such player. Either they will ask you for thousands of evidence, and even if you provided it (but who makes screenshots in game right?) they tell you hosted game is in full control of person who host. Also there is no send flowers to such person in-game so in fact no single way of defense. The worst part is other players won't care much, they simply want play fast, not their problem or just ignore him. With the time tere will be no enough players so you either doomed to not play or accept such toxic players. Once I made a mod for host of the game, to be able to ban permanently such person, but reaction here was even worse. They blamed me I'm bad person. There is no solution to stupidity other then just leave this game. Nobody will listen us. See result 1 month later or 1 year later.. so we write such text here just at least feel some stress reliev.1 point

So far, I'm seeing that we should probably not add the rams and the iphicrates/ptol nerf. I'm thinking we should still wait a while longer so more can vote. Is sentiment around the second one that the ptol hero should not be nerfed, but that iphicrates could use a nerf? Maybe the appropriate change then is to instead merge just the iphicrates portion.1 point

In the original age of empires i got into the habit of using the 'home run' cheat for automatic victory when I couldn't find the remaining enemy units. AI resigning would have been really nice there.1 point

. Some siege ideas, and battle ideas, concerning defense and capture. This idea comes from capturing but it's taken to another level. The idea is, some buildings must have a requirement before been captured ( or process to start capturing. The idea is "a building is captureable if you you fill some condition to do". For example with defensive towers, can be capturable only if certain HP is reduced to specific (%). this would apply to Fortress. The second is consequences of this. In this case certain structures should be slower to repair. Defensive buildings only.1 point

Hey everyone, I am writing this post to let you know I will become mostly unavailable in the three coming weeks starting Tuesday. "All we have to do is decide what to do with the time that is given to us." It's an opportunity for me to regain some of the energy to keep working on this project and to rest in general. ehehehe you're also right .. it was only a simple suggestion off the top of my head Maybe I would add that "unlocking" it could add that little engagement with the action, otherwise purely passive and automatic. It would become then a choice. But yeah, is totally not necessary if too redundant1 point

Today I had a very unpleasant experience in a game. A player named harmony insulted me for the whole game just because I played bad. They went as far as stating they have had a *** intercourse with my mother and other racist offences (really?? only because we were losing a non-competitive game on a free-to-play videogame run by volunteers?). Now, I don't really care about this kind of childish attitude. I usually play to relax after work. But I thought that reporting such toxic behavior would help other players avoid wasting their time with this frustrated person. PS: so far I didn't have had (luckly!) many experiences like this on 0ad. I think that overall players like the one above are a minority in our community. Which is full of passionate and fair people . Update: Added the different account names of player harmony to the title0 points

If so, we fundamentally disagree on this. I think we should look on what set Athens apart as a faction and then represent that with a fitting bonus, instead of cherry picking.0 points
