  6. Hello. I am a mod maker for Age of Empires 2 Definitive Edition. I've been making mods with the Advanced Genie Editor for a while now, but I've been heavily struggling with adding unit models into the game, as there is no archive for custom units, at least none that I know of for DE. I was wondering if I would be allowed to borrow graphics from Rome at War. I'm aware that Rome at War is the result of a whole team of modders, so if I need to ask someone else I'd be grateful for anyone to tell me who to contact and how to do so. If you wish to see my main mod for yourself, you can find it in the in-game mod manager, it's called Hfs rebalancement (although I will be overhauling it once Return of Rome releases) I thank you in advance for your answer.

  11. I'm from southern Indiana, USA, in my 30s. I've played the game occasionally since a22, and do a little modding. My oldest son will be old enough to play soon. My username is Plato's brother, the character in the Republic who is more practical and likes a simple life. I think the name means 'fearless.' I know some Greek and Spanish, and bits of several other languages. I'm a homesteader, raising some of our own food and working toward going off grid.

  13. I am working on a scenario and as a way of boosting the AI a bit, I periodically spawn some random citizen soldiers by their civic centre. To my surprise, the AI wasn't using them to do any work and they just keep standing where they were spawned. Then, I decided to try something different - I spawn the same units as Gaia entities and change their ownership to the player through code. Now, the AI immediately puts them to work! My guess is that the latter method trigger some function similar to what happens when the AI produces a worker through its building, while simply spawning the units for the AI to use them as it sees fit, does not.

  14. Yeah, it seems PetraAI must have the metadata. if (ent.getMetadata(PlayerID, "role") === PETRA.Worker.ROLE_WORKER) How do you spawn the units? [EDIT] When the AI produces something it adds metadata to know later what the produced unit is used for. If it doesn't have any, it is probably used in the next attack only. When converting the entity, indeed another message is sent that is also picked up by the AI.

  19. I'm wondering, am I the only one who has noticed, that there are soooooo many " second accounts " right now in game? I've played several games this week with people who tells that they are playing literaly first or second day, but they play like 1600. Like, what's wrong with you guys? Are you that addicted to trolling points or what?

  20. Correct. Follow the rules, people. That said, I'm not able to personally enforce the rules about duplicate accounts because I don't have access to the server logs or ban capability. It's up to @Dunedan and @user1. I can pass information back and forth though, such as information about potentially unauthorized duplicate accounts, request for authorization of certain duplicate accounts (include the names and reasons for each), and requests to delete certain duplicate accounts (include the names and proof that you own the accounts).

  23. It is not recommended that the corrals of nomads directly produce food trickles, but that the corrals automatically train livestock for free, and herders slaughter livestock. The yurthouse did not provide a population, but served as a resource recycling point and a barracks for training herders and cavalry.
