  1. I updated the mod for a26, there should be no change in map generations from the version in a25. If I finish the ongoing patch for balanced maps, I will update the mod again. The old versions will be kept available for downloading for compatibility with replays

  4. There are another two parameters that didn't fit into the main options (you need to set them in user.cfg) but might help you to not disable icons at all: gui.session.minimap.icons.opacity - how transparent icons are (0.0 - 1.0, default: 1.0). gui.session.minimap.icons.sizescale - multiplies the icon size by that value (should be greater than zero, default: 1.0).

  8. Although the trees are important in Celtic religion, the tree of life is also a Christian symbol. There is so much modern and medieval esoterism behind it, it is difficult to know what is genuinely Celtic. Medieval Celtic art is actually the result of Roman and Germanic influences: https://www.archaeologs.com/w/salin-styles/en http://thethegns.blogspot.com/2017/02/art-styles-part-2-migration-animal.html http://thethegns.blogspot.com/2017/04/art-styles-part-3-insular-art.html I would suggest to use native art from the pre-Roman iron age. Like the Mirror style: https://www.pretanicworld.com/art/the-mirror-style.html This one is nice for the Gauls.

  11. I play most computer games without sound. I'm not deaf, just a preference. Habit from youth when gaming at night with family sleeping ... When setting the game sounds to 0, after some time, the console gets spammed with cannot find ogg files. When setting sound to at least "1" this does not happens and corrects the error. System: macOS Monterey; Apple M1

  12. In the case of a historical RTS, this is an important point because hard counters are generally unhistorical... although it is necessary to make compromises for a game, I find the article interesting for understanding the gameplay.

  20. Bracteates could be useful: Shared Divine Imagery Gold Bracteates.pdf (with pictures) From book: The Migration Period between the Oder and the Vistula Also Visigothic art: https://www.worldhistory.org/Goths/ https://www.worldhistory.org/image/3137/visigothic-fibula/ http://users.stlcc.edu/mfuller/spainNationalMuseumVisigoth.html Ostrogothic art: https://www.metmuseum.org/toah/keywords/ostrogothic-art/ https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Category:Ostrogothic_jewellery For the Suebian, this is difficult, but something generic like a cauldron or a drinking horn could work: https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gräberfelder_von_Putensen https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Category:2nd-century_jewellery_in_Germany https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Category:1st-century_jewellery_in_Germany

  21. I'm trying to represent new patterns for each civ if I can, since each culture has a large wealth of design work, fabrics, coinage, pottery, iconography, etc. It's goood to try to represent that wealth of culture.

  22. # Custom Rating This mod allows you to modify default rating number with any text of your choice. Simply go to Options -> customrating menu. # How it looks Kampot #select in presets !No rating Kampot (sexy) #in options put text 'sexy' Kampot (>1600) #in options put text '>1600' Kampot (5555) #in option put text '5555' Kampot (∞) #special characters needs ^1 for ∞, ^2 ♡, ^3 ™, ^4 ★, ^5 ↑ ## Mod compatibility(s) The mod should be compatible with: - Autociv - boonGUI - feldmap - Should work with all mods that don't have heavy code changes. time flies | le temps passe | čas letí | el tiempo vuela | o tempo voa | час летить | Zeit vergeht customrating mod is now available for 0ad 0.26 - and removes all restrictions from the past. current version is available on https://github.com/Kampot-0ad/customrating (I still need to figure out how to use releases so patience with me) There were requests to put it on github, and it took me significant amount of time to understant how it works. Anyone willing to provide fixes/updates and patches has now source code available on this platform. customrating uses some part of code from autociv mod, which contributed to existence of this mod in current form.

  26. Cheers and... WELCOME TO ALPHA 26! The newest version of the LocalRatings mod (v0.26.1) is attached to this post. Major new features: Automatic (and much faster!) list update. New per-civ rating chart. Ratings of players visible in the lobby page. Documentation, including the rating system and F.A.Q. is now available (clicking on the "Info" button). New match filter: starting resources. .. and other little perks: Player names colored as in lobby. Hovering on evolution chart shows detailed information. More statistical data (e.g. standard deviation). Release notes: the attached new version of LocalRatings v0.26.1 is compatible with Alpha 25. Installation: see the first post of this thread for instructions. Have fun! LocalRatings.pyromod LocalRatings.zip
