I also sometimes feel like the fight is way too fast. it the result to a race for technologies that are too powerful in relation to the health of the units. Of course we must reward the boom of a player, the fact that he is advantaged on the technologies obtained. But maybe we can do better than that. It's a very simplistic view of just increasing damage and armor. My idea would be to completely reform the technologies of the forge. Leave the facility improvements found in all the str (armor / life / attack) Of course we keep in the castle the +25% damage tech. Interesting to me is to link technologies to unit classes. We have sevaral classes : Spear, Pique, Archers, Swordmen, Slingers, Skirmish, Axe men, Cavalerie and more generalist : Infantery Basic technlogie : we can adapt for each civ if neccesary. Phase 2 : Range javelin (insert roleplay name of technlogie for improve javelin) Skirmish : +3 range Shild of skirmish : +1 piercing armor (because skirmish have little shield we can imagine we improve with some part of metal their shield) Bow (insert roleplay name ): +5 portée insert name : better gear of cavalerie : +5% speed Sword : +10rate attack speed We can imagine 2 or 3 more tech in P2 Phase 3 : Pique : best efficient of armor, same armor for same speed as spear unit( it 9 i guess) Axe and sword men : deal 30% dammage to area unit of target (buff melee unit without up imbeatable in little army) crossbow : ignore all percing armor choice techlogie : Low cost. 100 Metal, give advantage and disaventage. 30 seconds Reversible click. choice of bow: Long range bow +20 meters but attack time +50% pike armor choice: +50% armor and 50% reduced speed spear cavalry armor choice: +50% armor and 30% reduced speed Orther choice of spear cav armor : -70% armor but +20% speed and 30% damage. Metal balls for slingers with little piques: damage +5% and causes the target to bleed 1 damage per second for 10 seconds but slinger cost +10 metal. We can imagine 2 tech more tech in P3, and maybe some tech for champ of each civilisation. If not enought maybe reduce power of phase 2 tech for give level 2 tech in phase 3? To conclude : In P3 full technology a player would have at his disposal slightly stronger units in terms of armor and damage inflicted without this creating a snowball effect but thanks to technological progress he would have notable improvements in his movement speed, its reach, utilitarian things. But it also makes it possible to implement real player choices, which will certainly be little used because of the penalties they confer, but as it is situational, some players will have fun using its so-called "choice" technologies. -

Play on SEA in the main languagues (English, Spanish) on simple keywords. like rts, open source, open source game, str, stategy, rome, strategy, history. 0AD should be more easyly to be founded. I remember I found it by linux games..but im not using linux so im very lucky. I would love to see the functionality of the bell changed. This is not an urgent feature to change. But I think it is possible to give more choice. For the woman we can diversify the bell a bit. For example 2 buttons : 1 button for bell for food woman production and second bell for woman wood production. But the issue is what about idle woman??? Second option : 2 bell, 1 little and 1 big -> the first for the area of civic center and the second for a big area like the P1 zone of CC. for avoid woman run very far for house with the little bell After for the troops we can imagine a new button directly on troop. Not in building. "Training Time" -> units move towards production buildings + fort + cc. 30 second cooldown to avoid boring micro/teleport battles. Do not create anything op. If a player chooses to defend themselves by taking a losing fight, that's the game. But it allows you to create a panic button to give a second wind to the defender.

Few beginners use this feature but you can dodge places likely to block armies. By creating a path with waypoints with shift. Except for the boats which I find very irritating I consider that it is the fault of the player if he blocks his units in a forest or other. All proportion kept. This can make it important for lands to stay blocked. For example archers can be happy to stay hidden in a forest. Melee cavalry will have a little more trouble penetrating the forest in large numbers to kill archers because they have a bigger hitbox. We are used to it but I don't know if a new player will find it attractive that the units on the move without formation are so close to each other. It is sometimes difficult to know if there are 50 units or 100.

Is it easily doable to increase the gap between units relative to their hitbox on the ground? (the circle?) What bad consequences can this have? I remember that in the old alphas the units were more spaced out when moving.

5) Change totaly the siege. Remplace by mercenary siege. Sparta can't build siege, only recruit mercenary siege in the arsenal. Instead of recruit unit siege one by one. We can only recruit by group of mercenary siege. i explain instead of recruit unit siege. We can recrut only group of mercenary siege; 2 chooses in the building. A) 2 ram 1 bolt 4 light sword men (they repear faster X2), 500 metal and 10 population. 45 seconds. B)3 Catapulte 6 light sword men (they repear faster X2), 800 metal and 10pop. 60 seconds. Also we delete all tech in this building.

Think about the possibility that this civilization could have 2 heroes alive at the same time? Somes idea : 1)Change the tech bonus phase. Phase 2: 30% to 25% expand territory and add a gain of 1 metal every 5 seconds for each ally earned. Phase 3: +50% to 45% expand territory and gain of 2 metal every 5 seconds for each possessed ally. Sparta acts for the protection of its allies against a tax. Of course for the gameplay we are not going to steal metal from the allies. -> If it seems too complicated a slow flow of metal in phase 2 and a medium flow in phase 3.
