  1. Oh, that thing again. Was confused by it several times, didn't occur to me it could happen right next to the CC. When I moved on to the next enemy and did the same it properly decayed to that enemy, so I can imagine it's difficult to reproduce.
  2. Why was the stable decaying to Gaia and not to red? Is there something funny with the territory within the Fortress, possibly introduced with the latest changes to the map/placement? @smiley
  3. I believe there's a mod with balanced maps, might wanna check it out.
  4. Heroes are a regular part of my army, so if they're fighting or not depends on their role. (But I probably wouldn't notice the .25 difference.)
  5. Some people think it's lame, but I always have a ring of fields around my CC and a ring of houses around that (and houses next to additional fields); so I have always houses for my women. I can grab them directly and garrison them manually or send them to the houses on the far side of the attack. Only CCs, towers, forts and walls can shoot at attackers, so you can't add arrows to barracks. You can however still use them to your advantage. If you garrison your barracks they can (hardly) be captured, if you fight around them you can save your wounded soldiers, you can "teleport" your ranged units to the far side to gain distance to melee attackers.
  6. I believe each soldier adds one arrow; as in the pic: 3 + 10 = 13 arrows. Might be worth the micro; you could release the women to the backside and thus have more room for soldiers. Can't say anything about what you see with your CC. Did you give the mouseover a chance to refresh? (Move the mouse away and then back again after the garrisoning.)
  7. @SpartanofTime Follow @Stan`s link and check out the RC3! gl, hf
  8. Wow, that's the shortest crashlog.txt I've ever seen; and the least helpful. (And I don't know what to do with the .dmp as I'm no techie.) Could you also upload your system_info.txt and userreport_hwdetect.txt? btw my standard advice is to make sure the game uses the dedicated GPU in case you also have an integrated GPU.
  9. Hello @SpartanofTime and welcome to the forums. To be able to help you
  10. I checked and Arakamani gives the Temple Guard bonuses.
  11. np. We might as well follow it through. I still might try to get back to my original points, tho.
  12. I had to think of Roulette, where the 0 is random but not equal chance. @alre IIRC it used to be that the culture was "rolled" first (like Hellenic) and then the civ; has that changed? If we have the random stuff out of the way I'd still be interested in opinions regarding the opening post.
  13. Of course I'm on a26 RC3! Interesting, I didn't know there was this random/region thing. Currently I'm kush in India with the enemy team a bit further away being double kush...
  14. @BreakfastBurrito_007 So you never built it before but could imagine building it in the future? I could agree to the benefits you listed, but for the price and the building time and then microing to take advantage of the teleport?
  15. Besides that I think there should be a line break before "Interval", and that it should be indented at least like "Trunk" if not a step further, I really think there should be some padding to the box border and it really, really never should be possible that the text even goes outside the box.
  16. RNG dealt me Kushites, so I looked into something that always puzzled me. First question: do you ever build the Grand Temple of Amun? I never felt compelled to spend 600 stone so my champions would have -5% health. Second: The first capital of the Kushites was Napata, then it was Meroe; so I find it a bit off that we first can build a temple that can produce Meroititc Temple Guards and then the temple that can train Napatan Temple Guards. Thirdly: Arakamani has the perk "Follower of Apedemak" which grants bonuses for training "Apedemak Temple Guards", while the champion trained at the Apedemak Temple is called "Meroitic Temple Guard"; I assume that doesn't have gameplay implications (maybe someone could check if those bonuses are granted), but I think it's wrong that the unit is not called its proper name. @Stan` @Sundiata
  17. While I also think it's ugly I'm fine with different people enjoying the game in different ways.
