  2. I just noticed that large stone quarries have double the worker slots as metal mines; is that intended?

  4. I don't play with corals; yes, they multiply your food, but I feel the investment is slowing me down. When I encounter eles, I select my ranged horses and they go down. Can't say what your problem is. Your games are automatically saved as a replay; load one up and I'll have a look at it. The replays only work if you don't interrupt your game; else you have multiple parts and I don't think you can merge them.   5. So you caught that different units have differing gather rates? Apart from @Old Roman's reply, you can lower the difficulty of the AI and slow the playing speed; that should help getting into it. gl,hf!
  6. I think that "three swords" button was added then. For all I care it could disappear again. I never use it, and especially for ships I don't think it makes any sense. I have never seen a discussion about, but maybe if more people stated that they would prefer other buttons....
  7. I think it's unfortunate that I can't send a ship with units in it patrolling. Do we really need this "after dropping resources" button?

  9. What are we doing with Agis III? I suggest dropping him in favor of Agis II and give him a siege bonus.
  10. In favor of (limited) range defense. I'd imagine that to be historically correct too. Oh please, NO.
  11. I find the garrison numbers pretty low; when I think of the average army size I set over this would mean nearly double the ships/trips. I wish you luck with your overhaul and hope that ships become more fun. The last time I played a water map I definitely didn't enjoy them; felt like they became even clunkier and dumber, hanging on every obstacle, turning for ever on the spot, with their turn and acceleration times I sometimes even didn't know if they were moving at all...
  12. Since the Han have Archery Training at the stables I assume horse archers also profit from it. Maybe add "and Cavalry Archers" to the descritption to clarify?
  13. I was just wondering if the AIs coordinate attacks or if they just happen to show up at the same time. Since it's usually the members of a team I suspect they are coordinating. In which case: nice work from the programmers. Although not necessarily nice to be on the receiving end...
  14. If that tip is too brief for you: you could turn off your antivir temporarily to check if 0AD runs. If it does, you can add exceptions to your antivir for pyrogenisis.exe or the whole 0AD folder; if you don't know how, do an internet search for your antivir + add exception and you will find a guide.

  16. Ah ja. 1. I don't think shtuff like that should be user facing. 2. I don't think that 2e-14 missing metal should keep me from building a CC. (The UI seems to agree. )
  17. It is very unfortunate (to put it very mildly) that the UI shows me I can build a CC while the game won't in fact let me. With the Colonization tec and the Seleucid team bonus I believe I needed one more res of each to build it (although I couldn't figure out the wood cost); which in theory isn't a big difference, while in practice it can make a big difference. Also I didn't find the notification helpful. (And I think it's wrong, since 2.8e is ~7,6 ; minus 14 would mean a negative amount is missing?) I guess with the fractions it is a border case, still I would greatly prefer it if the UI wouldn't give me misleading information. Please force it to accurately give me the needed resources, and if you're obscurely working with fractions, please make sure that the different parts of the game come to the same conclusion. savegame-0237.0adsave
  18. @thephilosopher I went directly from resource gathering to fighting, I'm sure I didn't give additional orders - and still the back to work button didn't appear when the trespasser was dead. Edit: Maybe my "mistake" was that I didn't de- and re-select those soldiers; I did that with those horsies above. Edit2: Nah, tried that too; guess it doesn't feel like showing up this game...
  19. I agree, it doesn't always show when one would expect it.
  20. No, nothing changed. I would have given it a try, but today when loading the game several times no error showed.
  21. Maybe it isn't specific to 0AD. Did you do an internet search for the symptoms? Sometimes it's the device, the trackpad or a combination with the OS.
