  3. I always fill the Han's fields. I think I use less women than with other civs, but I'm not sure how many paddies. The last farm upgrade doesn't work for Han, maybe that is part of your problem. The community mod fixes that. It's supposed to be hotfixing issues, but also addresses urgent balancing issues and whatnot - I honestly lost track, except that it fixes the Han farming technology. It's available through the in-game mod selection.

  7. My guess would be that you have (changed to) a Linux distro which takes some time to upgrade the packages. If so maybe try Otherwise let us know your OS, and maybe how you tried to upgrade so far. hth

  9. For what it's worth, the wikipedia describes them as infantry, including their role on the battlefield and other duties, while citing sources like Thucydides. Screenshots of Chinese books don't help me a bit, so I can't really judge how credible their claims are.

  11. Is it intended that Mauryan worker eles can build anything but palaces and edict pillars?
  12. Not in favor. First it would be the player's responsibility to not build in a disadvantageous position. There's also some maps (Ngorongoro) where the starting positions would be outside such a hypothetical radius and it would be difficult to remedy. And sometimes I want to build a CC right next to the map border (for example when it's the only possible position for a forward base). ??? Everything that's not explored outside the view from the CC stays unexplored. And you want to explore the darkness?

  17. Is there a difficulty doing an area selection (=drawing a rectangle on the map with your cursor) while holding a key?
  18. It's an O, not a 0; but I believe [o] works. You can also change it, it's a unit selection hotkey.
  19. @ValihrAnt for example is able to do that. It was watching him play when I decided I didn't want to get into MP... I, too, don't like the delayed affirmation of input. I think @Stan` explained to me that it is because the command is acknowledged after the current cycle/at the beginning of the next turn or something; so a different mouse won't change that. I moved up the slider for when to consider a unit wounded; now when I hit [O] and do an area selection I can get my wounded units out of the battle.
  20. @Stan` Do you maybe have an idea? I really think the resources should be translated in the private messages from the AI.
  21. If that's what gets through from 10 damage and 41% resistance I think it should be 5.9. That's why dancing was nerfed. You can try it, but I think that horse is gonna die pretty quick. That's why forge upgrades and will to fight make a difference.
  22. IIRC @Stan` said scaling is not possible.
