  2. This is a new random map created by me and @Jammyjamjamman Map Demo video: Jammy's Despair The size, depth, and borders of the lakes are generated using random numbers. Some lakes are shallow enough that units can cross the lake without any difficulty or wetness problems. The map will be included in v0.25.9 of Community Maps 2.

Buenas ; -Creo que la facción tracia podría ser la excepción a la regla de que los edificios no cambian en cada fase , ya que hay muchas referencias diferentes para los tracios y al mismo tiempo el intento de introducir a los Odrisios que eran tracios pero con una arquitectura diferente me hace pensar que para ellos si podría ser posible esta cualidad. También podría ser una Bonificación de facción , que en cada fase los edificios fueran un poco más duros ya que los elementos de construcción son más resistentes pero también un poco más caros. Edificios para la "Fase 1" de 3 fases; (Las estructuras también podrían cambiar de formas al cambiar de fase no solo lo harían las texturas) -Almacén ; -Casas; -Centro urbano; -Corral; -Cuartel; -Granja; -Murallas; -Puerto; Torre defensiva pequeña; -Aldea; (No añadí decoraciones porque eso lleva más tiempo y quería presentar mi idea lo antes posible y si es descartada pues no perdería el tiempo con algo que no va a hacerse realidad y si es aceptada los incluiré) Referencias; -(esta última es la referencia para los colores) Disculpen las molestias*

  9. As someone who is mildly red-green color blind (the most common category of color blindness), I would prefer having symbols instead of colored highlights in every case, but I also acknowledge that accomodating for me may not be a priority in all cases.

  11. May I suggest a revision? 100 pop doesn’t have any in game meaning. It’s just a round number and doesn’t require going p2 or doing any techs beyond maybe food and or wood. I think a better challenge would be to do 200 or 300 pop with some limit on women and require p3. I only say this because the first time I did it I got a ‘bad’ time which I felt was because I did upgrades. So I tried twice more, each time with a worse “normal” game build order and I got a better time each time. With that said, my best time after 3 attempts was 7:25 using a build order that would make me terribly slow in mid-late game (zero techs; 1 barrack).

  16. @FeldfeldI added them to the repo and they'll be included in v0.25.9. As for the Alpine Mountains map preview, like you, I had a problem generating a map preview. This was the best I could come up with, but I included it anyway because it's better than a pink square...

  18. Yea it is super awkward the way units get on and off walls. I feel they should disappear into the turret for 1 s and then pop out at the bottom, rather than taking inspiration from assassins creed. I would not say that this is overpowered though, since it could be easily countered by a mangonel or two.

  19. I've seen a game has 3 types of flares, map drawings (impractical for the theme and pacing I think), pings (a typical flare) and ping with label. Ping with label is incredibly helpful, I think could be a worthy idea. Ping with label is written by the player, but I could see a quick ping opening a circular picker for standard pings as potentially a good/better alternative.

This and this. optimize engine, pathfinding, networking, ... -> reduce lag, create a fluid game polish GUI (feels a bit outdated), especially ingame -> create immersion (1) add content like more tutorials, challenges and campaigns with original art and good storytelling -> create immersion (2) most importantly OVERHAUL GAMEPLAY -> strategic depth and variety -> add to the longevity of the game, so you will still need to learn and adapt after 100s of hours find ways to make the lobby a (user-)friendly place; make it more appealing graphic wise, it has a very techy vibe -> less complaints about toxicity and cheating -> overall more welcoming to beginners When the groundwork is done... ...after years of heavy work, drastic changes, thorough testing, maybe also some luck... ...then we can talk about steam support, prized tournaments etc. IMO I do not want to stop you from having fun, but just want to say this is not thinking big...

  22. You would get several good players without a prizepool, it is not needed in my view. A good number of high rated players would probably just join for either having the honor of: 1: Beating Vali in the finals. 2: Being Vali.

  27. I think it would not help to push the game to the public. I think games that are popular result in high prizepool tournament. I don't see it automatically working the other way around.

  30. I can't connect to lobby. sometimes it says I/O Error. sometimes it says stream error. My internet is fine. I was able to play just fine two days ago. problem started happening yesterday night. I was able to connect to lobby which also took more than usual time. After connecting, I was keep getting disconnected from the lobby. My messages were also being delayed by like ~30 seconds. If connect to the game, I my messages were appearing just on time but not in lobby. So after fresh boot this morning, I'm now not even able to connect to the lobby. can't log in into existing account not can create new account. 0ad's terminal output also dont show anything useful information in terminal nor does mainlog.html

  31. Maybe I am too old and stuck with the slow paced old school RTS... But 100 pop in 7 minutes is one of the reasons why I don't actively play 0 A.D. anymore...
