I did check the gather rates, for a while I thought Carthage had some how gotten an extra 75% stone mining rate lol, then realised that was not the case. Makes sense to leave out the buttons

Its listed three times because its implemented as auto-research unique techs. Instead, it could be turned into a variant of the phase-up technologies.

I see, why not make it like the Athenian metal mining bonus they get per age then, that would be a simpler and cleaner setup I think, the current system works, just looks odd having the same thing copy pasted thrice

Because they are supposed to gather metal faster than other civs??

This might not be the best channel, but:

The build from the arch repository gets a segfault after a few minutes gaming. This happens for me on 2 different pcs and each game, not like there is one game where it didn't happen of about 5 attempts on each pc. The appimage or compiled git version works reliably.

but they didn't let me create a account due to heavy traffic or so.

Can another arch user reproduce it? Or can another arch user say that they could play for a bit longer?

I just started a single player game, let some gaia fight and waited 2 minutes and 10 seconds for the next crash.

Here are some log files from .local/state/0ad/log

If you tell me how I can run tools tracing it, but wouldn't it be easier if the person that investigates it just lets the game run themself for just max. 5 minutes?

Congrats on the 0ad a0.28 release ya'all ! Game's so smooth on my light setup, I'm lagging behind like a pikeman!

 the game's latest version segfaults after minutes here on Arch (just to confirm @ffm2 @andy5995 and @hyperion above) :

  • both after (a27.1-5 -> a28.0-1) and (a28-1 -> 0.28.0-1)
  • with my old a27.1 config folder, as well as if I move it
  • no new logfile is generated upon crash
  • that is, up to now in this location @ffm2

Will proceed to Arch linux's gitlab see if I can add something usable there.

ty @Stan` for clarifying the spidermonkey bug that caused the issue.
