  1. they ALSO have a massive damage multiplier on top of all that. also,all ranged cav has one extra pierce resistance than their infantry counterparts. combine this with the extra hp and mobility and you have the best unit for survivability
  2. played multiple 5v5, one 6v6 with others here, and I can say its pretty darn smooth than expected! quite good compared to what everyone would assume it to be... and @kheeva I had the mod installed and I also could not join his 1v1.. it seems to be problem of him.. I am currently in the game you are playing haha even though its without the mod
  3. agree with @real_tabasco_sauce that cav in its entirety is too fast in this game, cav in its entirety is pretty op. one jav cav is about 1.5 or 2 times value of a jav inf depending on how it's used,for example. also,I don't know why @Thalatta went on a rant about units being banned in that first reply... that wasn't even what I talked about?? I just said naked fana is too good economically, they are cheap little cockroaches with high dps,high speed,high capture and they still win against a normal swordsman. the naked fanas should not be able to run around your base like some little- so yeah. that's why naked fana is banned in most games. cus they are annoying for anyone who faces it. it's not fun to play rn.
  4. champ cav is nonsensically fast naked fana has capture speed of a champ despite not having any of the drawbacks of a regular champ palisades are useless,but when spammed are somewhat annoying catas too op

  6. hmm, you are right.. maybe a -2 range would make more sense... I just want sparta players to be more melee based. right now, due to brasidas most are making it jav based army. and its actually better than a melee focused army "sparta is a great civ, and hence needs a nerf" is why i said helot javs should get a nerf
  7. no, that's actually quite an interesting thing to note @Thalatta I'm sure even you were surprised when you first learnt that the warrior class civilisation did not do weapons training, atleast I was when I heard it from you hahaha. okay, I agree -8 might be too harsh.. maybe -5% ? I'm not decreasing their damage or resistance because that already happens due to the CC tech they have I'm just saying, helots, a slave class for most of spartan history, should be inferior to a normal peltast
  8. I mean,afaik, spartans enslaved the native helots. they were scared of a revolt from helots, so they never allowed helots to fight and bare weapons. true that brasidas changed things around tho

  10. Helot Skirmishers should have -8% movement speed on account of them LITERALLY not being historically a fighting class/ethnicity
  11. nah i think decay is good. and yes,wonders are already territory root. this discussion is only about forts being root or not.. we are not discussing whether decay as a whole is good or bad

  14. oh and, can you make a way to make it not case-sensitive? I play as: jagsusindia, Jagsusindia, jagSUSindia, JagsusIndia and so on,and each of them have different profiles

  18. once it was for selecting a large group, another time it was for building palisades, and another time I just took a few slingers who were firing, and dragged them back into a hand made crescent formation with my mouse
  19. another thing atleast for me is that during crucial moment of the game in a TG(so, high pop and all) when I'm trying to send a huge army to fight or something it makes me lose connection,even though until then my connection was perfectly fine. if I rejoin it will be fine until I try to do the thing I lost connection for.this is very annoying indeed is there a possible explanation for this?
  20. I think there is possibility that the problem of "bad connection" has gotten worse in this release also,the problem of "rejoining as spec" has become much,much more common than in A27 (It was almost eradicated in the last alpha, but now it's every game you lose connection in)

  24. last time jimo ported it to A27, but so far I haven't seen anyone do it for R28 @Seleucidsdoes your video on customrating still work in r28?
