  1. To me it looks like he's holding a broom. Probably would be interesting/entertaining to watch you take a Rorschach test.
  2. I have no idea about the code but maybe adding a team bonus would also be a possibility.
  3. There's also a more 'adult' interpretation of this 'riding brooms' and using potions to 'get off' stuff, but yeah... So, a new cheat code unit?
  4. I wasn't the one trying to tell you to do it differently.
  5. 'Zrump' sounds interesting. Unfortunately a search only brings up another contemporary politician I would not like as the next alpha's namesake. Yeah, this is not really a democracy; we'll be heard for consideration, but that's it.
  6. Isn't there a variant with blossoms? Maybe use only those, as they're instantly recognizable as non-wood plants. I guess fallen fruits, decals, meshes, props, whatever might be fine if they're instantly recognizable. I seriously don't think botany should be a required skill in this game, so I don't think we need more than one variant. And as one can see from the discussions about the berry bushes, subtlety and artistic ambition are not necessarily acknowledged. You can have some solitary food trees and some solitary wood trees, around the CC or in some part of your territory, and distribution of your workers or placement of a farm might depend on that; and yes, I think it would be nicer if one could see what's what without having to select a specific entity with a specific cursor state and then hover over various trees.
  7. I, too, think that apple trees look too much like regular trees.
  8. lol. For all I know the gates open for allies. Did he lock the gates? I never had allied troops stuck in my walls. I remember workers stupidly standing at walls because of ingrown trees or something, but I believe it's gotten much better in later versions.
  9. In this (short) thread are links to two versions: one from @Yekaterinaand one from @Radiotraining. I'd try that green button 'Code', download the zip and unpack it into the mods folder.
  10. I don't know which version you're referring to, but I just looked at both github links and everything seemed to be there.
  11. Unless it's a death trap? I had a few unpleasant experiences with units being trapped, that taught me to either stay out or make sure to move my whole army in to capture the CC; I'm wondering why you didn't do that. I think it would be a bit of a shame to remove the walls as they are unique to this civ, and since I sometimes exploit having a stupid villager opening the gates for me I'm also not really convinced of your second proposition either.
  12. Maybe it's the AIs of the thousands of animals?
  13. @AbuzDo you happen to play on a laptop? They usually have two GPUs and for some reason the game often runs on the integrated instead of the dedicated GPU.
  14. @maortovI think your chances to get help would be much higher if you just had specific questions or problems. Right now it sounds like you have an idea and expect people to make that game for you from scratch, while the people here have more than enough to do with 0AD. What parts of the development would you do?
  15. I think the fortress would be less boring if it could be built in neutral territory and could produce champs. Weren't a lot of fortresses built in areas not otherwise controlled by the builders?
  16. @AIENDThank you, and yes, I figured as much. I thought they may elaborate why stone and how much. As it stands, I don't find the argument very compelling.
  17. @Philip the SwaggerlessI have no idea, but maybe the Mauryan teacher can teach you something, if you can find out what he is doing in the forge. Good luck!
  18. I admire yours ability to see via doves; you're probably drug infused shamans. ;P
  19. I think it would be cool if those two units could be additionally built at ports and ships, not exclusively.
  20. I agree, but that would mean for me that we have even more freedom in our decision. Do we want a buy-in cost or not, do we want a dedicated building or not...
  21. Is there more evidence for the other structures or is it all artistic license? Barracks? Did they have standing troops and dedicated buildings for them? Stables? Did they build structures for the horses or were they kept outside and every rider took care of his own equipment? CCs?
