  1. Yeah, holding x/y relics for z time might be a good mode.
  2. I don't know if I would like that, also seems pretty unrealistic. But there is the 'capture the wonder' winning condition. There are already treasures. If, for example, I manage to claim 6 treasures on Sahara Oasis, that's 1800 resources that clearly give me an economic advantage/lets me build my military faster.
  3. I always thought the in-game depiction of gathered food was unrealistic; guess I was wrong:
  4. I believe you are a better player than me, yet I can't agree to that in its absoluteness. If you don't advance the enemy/enemies will bite you in your behind or elsewhere; to advance you need special buildings, advancing will automatically expand your territory. A lot of games I watched, for example on the popular Mainland, included the intermediate goals of reaching resources like woodlines or minerals, and/or gaining a strategic position.
  5. Hm, I guess. Although I probably wouldn't consider that already snowballing in effect.
  6. I don't think loot has much of an impact. I just looked at my latest summary and I used ~70k res and had ~1k loot. I fail to see how that would counter snowballing. If you got an increasing advantage, how would that not help in expanding too? And how would Military Colonies count toward that? (Which, btw, I think are already very strong, while the ability seems to be arbitrary. Carthage and Rome couldn't build military colonies? Maybe I just don't know enough history.)
  7. There are no plans to include new civs, like the Han? That would influence what I consider a sensible name, with the Han example whether to exclude or prefer Chinese terms...
  8. @YekaterinaOh right, like on Polar Sea. nvm then.
  9. Right, Cartography is, my fault. What about Diaspora though? Prerequisite are three traders and they're only available at p2.
  10. @Ceres Thank you, yes I saw it. My problem is not with setting the stance of healers, but that they still friggin flee on aggressive.
  11. @seehWhen I wanna look up something like that I just go to the Structure Tree (title menu > Learn to Play >); not a list, but since we don't have that many civs I think it's doable to browse them.
  12. @Player of 0AD Es gibt solche und so'ne: :p I just looked at wikipedia, apparently palms are not considered trees. Should I change my complaint to mislabeling?
  13. Shouldn't the map and dove icon be in the second line, behind the II?
  14. The description for the Nubia biome states that 'only the hardy Baobab trees thrive', while there's also plenty of Date Palms. Or are they just there but don't 'thrive'?
  15. Yeah, seems the tree on the other side is always the hottest, even if they have to squeeze by other trees to get there.
  16. Ele archers are not champs. From what I've seen at @mysticjim rightfully so. I really dislike that for Macedonians every ranged unit except the peltasts costs metal; I really wished they had CS ranged cav.
  17. If CCs had an aura giving buildings bonuses towards production and research there'd be an incentive to make the city center more urban. Until then I'll keep going rofroh (ring of fields + ring of houses) around my CC.
  18. meh. With max overlapping you could've fit more fields there. And no ring of houses around either...
  19. Please do not belittle the work of icon creators. But seriously, longer pikes, broader swords and bigger projectiles could be represented on screen.
