  1. Uhm, yeah, pretty sure that was the reason; one or two dogs clinging on to your armor and chewing on it would already hinder your movement significantly.

  3. Yeah, I also would like some more stats. I put some effort into leveling up units, so personally I would like a number regarding that.
  4. Thought this might be helpful for those of you working on their first own linothorax.
  5. It was full of/only obscenities. What did you expect? I expected it to be deleted.
  6. Thx @Vantha! So, are we sure now how the game picks AI leader names?
  7. @ShadowOfHassen As in real life I'm all for blindly following the government in everything! And as they were a Macedonian dynasty... But seriously, all their buildings are Hellenic; I doubt every house in Egypt was remodeled/rebuilt to look Greek at that time, still we go with it. I'm not particularly against an Egyptian temple but I'm fine with just keeping the Greek suite.
  8. Mi @Micronics, welcome to the forums. Generally it is good to follow the instructions in the error message when reporting an error: go to https://trac.wildfiregames.com/wiki/GameDataPaths and attach the logs (you can just zip the folder). The error says "Insufficient access rights to open file"; normally I'd suggest to disable your antivir for a test and then set exceptions. However I see you're running a VM and I don't have any experience with that. I don't know if you can allow it to access the files on your HDD or if you need to install it inside the VM. HTH
  9. I don't know, but from I read stuff is kept in the files because it would be a pity to throw it away and someone might do something with it. I think for the encyclopedia only buildings you can encounter/build yourself are relevant.
  10. [MemoryDevice] hMemoryArray: 49 hError: 55 [MemoryDevice] hMemoryArray: 49 hError: 57 [MemoryDevice] hMemoryArray: 49 hError: 60 [MemoryDevice] hMemoryArray: 49 hError: 62 hErrors are errors?
  11. I was willing to comply but didn't see how how I could comment at that URL; clicking around I encountered (I don't know if this is intended behavior.)
  12. So, the same situation as with the windows installer where windows refuses to install 0ad until you convince it?
  13. I'm not really a tec-guy... But I noticed you have a bunch of errors in your system_info. The first thing I'd try is to make sure the latest graphics drivers are installed.
  14. Hi @Joraikor, welcome to the forums. I'm not sure if the game crashed when you were creating it or when you were loading a save? If you were loading a multiplayer save that is a known issue. That error message doesn't really tell a lot; when reporting something it's usually best to include the logs. In doubt just zip the logs folder and attach it to your post. (The logs get overwritten when you start the application again.) Here's how to find them: https://trac.wildfiregames.com/wiki/GameDataPaths Also: Moin!
  15. You can grab it from the sources: https://trac.wildfiregames.com/browser/ps/trunk/binaries/data/mods/public/audio/music
  16. I guess that lies with the beholder. Also on offer: taikonaut, spationaut, vyomanaut. (Cosmonette, astronautess...)
  17. I noticed. (And commented on it, in a report; I sometimes add a sentence to reports...)
  18. If you don't sin HE sacrificed a weekend for nothing.
  19. Good for you that you are inquisitive. Especially since they're doing their usual stuff (healing) when on an "attack move", I think some generic "I will do that" or something would be just fine.
  20. I manually went through all the civs and all the buildings (I think); here's where I found missing flags: athen - Theatron cart - Embassies gaul - Tegia, Remogantium iber - Etxe mace - Theatron pers - Huvada ptol - Theatron rome - Domus sele - Oikos, Theatron I was surprised that all civs can garrison forges (which all have flags) as it serves no purpose except for the Han (dunno if it's still the goal to make it so). For the visibility of flags on wall turrets it's not good when the gates are higher (like Maurya), but I think it's especially problematic with the Iberians; because of the sideways position of the flag it can be "swallowed" by the gate:
  21. Healers also have an "attack move", yet they don't verbally acknowledge the order; would be nice if they said something.
  22. yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaahh. There's so much I don't know that I won't go through the files myself. Obviously I'm not gonna convince anybody. Maybe someone sees it and will think it's simply the better solution or it will be part of a general overhaul or something. Until then I will just keep an eye out for stumbling unto buildings without flag (and keep my "Cato" in the sig for a while).
  23. They're the only civ I saw it in the structure tree, but since my Spartan ally has the same messages I suspect all Hellenes share that. It's not super important, but a) I like consistency; and b) if we knew or came up with the equivalents for the other civs it would add some flavor.
  24. What follows will shock you! The Tegia doesn't have an occupied flag. If someone knew our file structure and how a command line works, would it be difficult to just batch check for that code snippet?
