I second this. Every command should give audio feedback. (Bothers me every time I make my healers attack move and they don't even say "yes".) Even if there were audio clutter I prefer it over no audio feedback. In the vids you posted earlier today the rally point and the arrows seem to work independently of each other? I think the sound you selected for the arrows is good, but i also would like a "plonk" or thud for the rally point; maybe if there's nothing to target at the point not both sounds have to be played.

Maybe using TOR would work, I use it to circumvent geoblocking; the slower speed shouldn't matter for registering.

For now I can only go by the sources: an official government body and the Smithsonian. But the find kinda looks too good to be real... -

Eventually, clicking on "Development" will not lead to trac? And the "future" redirections will go? (I don't know exactly how they're supposed to work, but for example trying to use it from /log/ps results in an error message.) -

The other day I had the tip shown that higher ranked units fight better; best to my knowledge that's not the case anymore, they have more health and are better at capturing now. Maybe that could be rewritten. -
I find berries integrated in mineral deposits annoying. Two women finally found an access point while the third stands around uselessly. In my experience that also leads to traffic congestion where the gatherers loaded up can't back off because others are pushing from behind trying to get to that resource. Micro I could do well without. Edit: It got even more annoying as the workers always "lost" those berries, turning to others instead. Reminds me of Bugthesda level physics. savegame-1369.0adsave

Archaeological potpourri

Well, the opportunities for archeological sites (and maybe exhibitions) are pretty unique, some structural reinforcement here, maybe some makeup there... Apart from propping up dinosaur skeletons I can't think of any field where you can make your findings mass compatible in a comparable way. Glory to our capitalist system! Apart from paywalls and copyrights and the likes sites like Pompeii and Göbekli Tepe also have entrance fees and shops... Would be much harder to cash in on the lifecycle of the fruit fly or something like that. -

The roads and stilts rammed through the ancients structures did look unusual/wrong to me. Over 75% of Pompei is excavated and I'm under the impression that I quite frequently read about updates from there. Can't say that about Göbekli Tepe. I don't agree with not fully exploring significant historic sites; if every part of that exploration needs to involve invasive means and if everything needs to be dragged to light and air might be a different discussion. I tried to look for more details on that exclusive deal for the company but didn't find much; currently I'm not suspecting anything more sinister than "normal" corruption/nepotism. -
Introducing the Official community mod for Alpha 26

btw I'd also like cadavers to be tinted if you wave a foundation over them, so that it's clear if a building buries that food source. -
Hi @jockel, welcome to the forums. Until someone more knowledgeable comes along... Check if it's the latest available release of the game; that came out in September 22, so I don't think it is. Some Linux depositories lag behind considerably... For ways to get it see https://trac.wildfiregames.com/wiki/GettingTheUnixRelease Check the FAQ https://trac.wildfiregames.com/wiki/FAQ Make sure you have the latest graphics drivers. If that doesn't help those more knowledgeable people would need the logs to look into it, you can just zip the folder and add it to your reply. https://trac.wildfiregames.com/wiki/GameDataPaths HTH

Until someone more knowledgeable comes along: did you look for the mesh of that unit?

As the installer isn't signed Windows refuses to open it; do you still get the chance to override that decision manually?

Hi @gerowen, welcome to the forums. I'm afraid I can't really help, but did you look at the FAQ? https://trac.wildfiregames.com/wiki/FAQ
