  1. @ChronA I agree it's difficult to create a role for chariots with the current game mechanics. So without having to add a bunch of features, I'd say turn them into some kind of melee glass cannon. Kind of like Petards in AOE2, but only against units, not buildings.

  3. It's one of the reasons why I don't like ranged units firing so fast by default or being so accurate by default. We have no room for techs to increase firing rate or accuracy if they're already machine guns.
  4. Yeah, the feature would need some code and other logic. Like, there needs to be a min and max distance where they'll throw their pila, etc. But it would largely be automatic unless the player wants to use the APM to micro them a bit.
  5. For Romans, their swordsmen should throw a pilum before closing into melee combat range.
  6. I honestly think base game should do this. Yeah, I gotta get the bot to do this in DE
  7. Also, why is it emblems/emblem_celts ? Should just be emblems/celts.png etc. @Mythos_Ruler^

  9. Yep, player override would be best. I think consensus will build (is building) around that.
  10. It wasn't a fix per se, but a desired feature. People wonder why the heck the arrows don't shoot at the unit they tell them to shoot at. I think a more than acceptable middle ground would be 100% random by default, but focus-fire when re-targeted by the player.
