  2. In tests with 30 elite archers, it took those 30 archers 4+ minutes to take down a wooden defense tower. It took 2+ minutes take down a palisade tower.
  3. A defense tower or a siege tower? You have said this before, and I decided to do some tests in Atlas and a "small group" of archers does not take down a defense tower in 15 seconds.
  4. We weren't talking about rams. And some siege towers walking past a CC and taking it down seems lame to me. lol Is that really how you envision a siege tower should work?
  5. Lol, siege towers in general, even in EA, are weird and lame. The game is just not built (yet) for interesting siegework. Siege Towers need a lot of work.
  6. Atlas really needs the option to choose the biome of the random map the designer is generating. Mainland random map, for instance, has no option to choose a different biome. It always generates an Alpine biome map. There is no drop menu, as in game setup, to choose the biome it ill generate.
  7. That's just simply wrong? It's very plain to see the CC is representative of the administrative center of a town or city.
  8. Fenris Wolves in Age of Mythology have a similar bonus. The bigger the pack, the faster they move for instance. In Delenda Est, phalangites have the "Massed Pikes" aura that improves their combat effectiveness when fighting in groups. Hoplites have their own aura, called "Shield Wall" which improves their armor values when fighting next to each other.
  9. Building farms around the CC isn't some immutable law of the Universe or something. It's simply based on positive and negative incentives (and the lack thereof), which can be changed.

  11. I got one here for DE. Basically, the champion swordsman ("Veteran African Infantry") replaces the champion hoplite ("Sacred Band Hoplite") if you choose Hannibal as your hero. Perhaps I can also do this for the champion cav. Swap the Sacred Band Cavalry for Veteran Numidian Cavalry if you choose Maharbal as your hero. @wackyserious Do you think you could make 3 or 4 new scutum textures for this guy? You're the G.O.A.T. when it comes to textures!
  12. Playtesting seems to be haphazard across the board. Can't really force people to playtest every single change though.
  13. Agreed, and with 0 being the first alphanumeric of the title, the game is almost always at the top of any list.
  14. Only half-kidding here, but could this be part of our marketing strategy? Choosing thematically relevant AAA titles in the game browser so that those fans may inadvertently click on and watch a 0 A.D. video?

  17. I think they only make sense for Hannibal though, historically. And I'd also shy away from heroes training other units. Never felt right to me.

  21. 0 A.D. needs a Klingon Warrior cheat unit, complete with bat'leth.
  22. Alternatively, have citizen-soldiers and female citizens have the exact same worker stats, but the citizen-soldiers are now weak fighters. They're only good for maybe holding off a P2 champion rush or something for a short time and supporting your champ&merc expeditionary force.
