Hit me up when you have something ready, with if possible @wowgetoffyourcellphone comments taken into account. @wowgetoffyourcellphone Since you are the one that always ask we keep variants in stock, do you want me to keep old horses, or can I nuke it all together ? Great ! I'm not that experienced with anims, I really need to find a way to learn how to make better ones. The zebu is still missing it's death anim, maybe @Alexandermb could do it so we can add it in game as well, if so I'll upload my latest blend. What I would be really grateful for is if he could record his process, no comments needed, just plain video, so I can learn.

  4. @Nescio about the XML caching I believe we do cache them as xmb though we package the XML in the game as well. I think @leper or @Itms told me it's because we still want mods ability on the released version. @Servo 1. Sounds really weird. 4. Should probably be discussed with @Alexandermb

  6. I'd like to have @LordGood and @Itms feedback on this. Mostly should we wait for @Enrique, and in any case should we commit @Alexandermb's work in the meantime or forever if Enrique were to never come back;
  7. Yeah they do indeed look better. But indeed I understand it makes it weird to you that I don't commit them as is (Provided they are even bug free) There are some reasons why. 1. Respect for the time Enrique did on those. 2. Enrique's animation are indeed as @wowgetoffyourcellphone pointed out better quality so I'd rather wait for those than include Alexandermb as placeholders. 3. Enrique is an official artist so unlike a contributor that would show off things and leave I believe we can wait for him. But yeah I don't have any source that says he will deliver.
  8. Crossbow are fairly straight when it comes to projectile unless your shooting really far.
  9. I guess you can use the horse for xiongnu. And if it gets commited to the main repo one day, we'll remove it. I'll wait for news of @Enrique until then.

  12. @LordGood I fixed the texture, and added Alexander's animations. If you have no objections, I'd like to commit it. @Alexandermb Your variant files were bugged so I added the anims inside the files directly and removed them. Basically things would get bad if you asked the onager to move. Also there was a lot of useless stuff in there. See a fixed file for example. Thanks for your work.
  13. Okay I'll try to make a complete new anim when I have some time. @serveurix About the texture, that's not the goal here The zebu just need anims for now.
  14. @LordGood I wonder How I missed this. Anims do really weird things in Blender. Should be fixed now.
