On the topic of Lidar, there is the recently discovered civilization at Mosquitia (Not sure they have been named yet). https://www.nationalgeographic.com/news/2015/03/150302-honduras-lost-city-monkey-god-maya-ancient-archaeology/2 points

Hi @audrey and welcome to the forums :) Traders in 0 A.D. need two markets to trade between. So first you right-click the market of you ally and then you right-click a market of you own. The reason for this is that one can trade between two arbitrary markets, instead of just between one of your allies' and your closest market (as is the case in AoE2).2 points

Hitler's action were viewed as bad in his current period. So you can moralize his action according to its context yes. But you cannot moralize his action from 5 centuries in the future. Maybe that most people 5 centuries in the future would not really give a s..t of his actions, the same way we do not care about the bad things made by most of our historical figures. Maybe yourself would be viewed as a bad person from the perspective of people 5 centuries in the future. For example we could have 5 centuries in the future, the same view on Hitler than we currently have on Genghis Khan or on King Edward I. There are plenty of historical figures that were bad persons from our current perspective. There are also several historical figures that were considered as bad persons by the standard of their epoch. Even a peace figure like Charlie Chaplin was in fact a misogynist, see his relation with Lita Grey.1 point

Big proponent of #blm here. Last poll said 70+% of Americans think the police unfairly target minorities, that includes even a significant portion of Republicans (right wing conservatives). More positive change has come about in 2 weeks of protests than in 2 decades of voting.1 point

Sorry for the delay, but YouTube Studio needs much time to convert the video, so i will embed the Video only in SD. What i've done to get the "flickering": 1. revert the game to rev. 23718 2. don't commented out the line <mesh>skeletal/celt_trader.dae</mesh> , because when it is commented out the flickering never occurs. 3. the result: I'll hope i've it done correctly1 point

Not currently. Not for A24 but there is a ticket for it. Currently some maps are night and the rest are days. Not possible yet. @vladislavbelov worked on something but didn't release anything usable. There are small waterfall actors. But as it was said before you cannot have different water levels without hacking it a bit. Only if you created them in the scenario thet are not destroyable buildable. Yes at least one (Pyrogenesis 1861) maybe @Trinketos's mod What do you expect?1 point

Dance is really drama material ... I mean you can't just play 0 A D like any other RTS without being accused of dancing .... Passive hero + nervously spamming Attack move = dancing. Defensive hero => you want it to get around your army but not in front line, you move it out = dancing. micro low health unit out = dancing ... Group your last reinforcement using formation = dancing i've seen a poll saying that players are OK with manual dance, as it's skill and apm, but not ok with autodance/patrol dance. Where is the line between using game features that the devs spend week to make avaliable and cheating ? Who decide if you dance or not ? I wonder if dancing give huge adventage to some civs/strats ? If not, can't we just make a tutorial on how to dance and just allow it ( manual use only ) ?1 point

That was a nice show, I really enjoyed replaying. I liked @PhyZik's confusion maneuver when he picked Spartans instead of a cavalry civ, because he's mostly been playing those recently. The team also did a good cooperation at getting water control and later while attacking. On the eastern front, nani really showed what it means to be a troll master. You had the patience and no fear of waiting for the right moment. On the other front, JC probably tried to replicate my Kush strategy from today, but he failed hard. Marc knew how to best defend a raid, that is by counter attacking.1 point
