Special Exhibit: Xiongnu, Henan Provincial Museum, Zhengzhou, China. Shamans: Dudes on the left and right, with their drums are perfect for our Xiongnu Shaman. Some animated drumming for healing process would be awesome Big white Yurt with a golden dome and cattle skull decorating entrance as our temple... Other dudes: Xiognu meet Han Chinese delegation:3 points

In the EU and the USA it's 70 years after the year the artist died; in some other countries it's up to 100 years. J. R. R. Tolkien died in 1973, therefore his works will enter the public domain in most of the world on January 1, 2044. However, many of his books were published posthumously and edited by his son Christopher Tolkien, who's still alive. Also, translations typically belong to translators, illustrations to illustrators, films to film directors. Alan Lee and John Howe are two artists responsible for the majority of "authorised" Tolkien art, and they're both alive as well. Etc.2 points

I once had the idea that you would train a "Tribute Wagon" which basically looks like a beefed up trade cart, you'd send it toward your ally and then their units could "gather" it like a treasure. This seemed a little much micro to me once I thought more critically about it. However, I don't think there's anything to prevent such a thing from being possible in a mod, even with current code.2 points

Hi everyone! I am new to the forum, so please bear with me if I have posted in the wrong forum group. I was wondering if anyone might be working on a mod similiar to the game Age of Mythology, maybe modding 4 or 5 of 0 ad's factions (for example athens, sparta, egypt, Britons or gauls and maybe rome), by adding a few mythical units and titans to those factions, one could also implement a hero and deity system similiar to the mod Hyrule Conquest (by adding the ability to choose a hero or deity and at the beginning of a match and this hero or deity can give unique mythical units and technologies). I am not sure how one would implement a favor system, but maybe an extra resource could be added that can only be gained at a temple or something?1 point

It is indeed an area with a lot of uncertainty, but that's really more of a reason to err on the side of cautiousness In the dictionary I have on my shelf they are certainly both included, so any distinction he used is more of a curiosity I'd say =)1 point

Trade tariffs Sometimes the stronger markets (playing 2vs2) will always win out but it shows a key factor in planning. If you were able to set something akin to what is going on today you can slowly squeeze out allies, some good strategic gameplay. I don't know what you would adjust outside of markets/docks, but just an idea for a more economic game.1 point

@Nescio, hmmm, I looked at like a bajillion Ptolemaic eagles from their coins and it's all kind of the same strict iconography that I followed literally. The references are in the original post... In the majority of the coins, the talons are all angled weirdly like that. Maybe that's why he's so angry? It's just a bit of an awkward eagle... It's up to you guys...1 point

It's definitely illegal, and Hyrule Conquest is illegal as well. I guess they've just not noticed it, I was of the impression that Nintendo is about as aggressive as the people owning the rights to LotR. Maybe they just pretend like they don't see things if they are not popular/well-known enough.1 point

No more instant giving resources, not really realistic. It’s either delay it or manually. Wien you research diaspora and the ally units drop off resources to an ally dropsites it should belong to the ally where you drop off the resources.1 point
