Gurken Khan
Do we have a string freeze? Didn't see anything about it. Anyway: Seems like 'hull' is the only non-capitalized word in techs; for consistency's sake I think it should be changed.

Gurken Khan
@Stan` ok. The 'ta' in 'Shao ta' should also get a capital letter, like the 'Ta' in 'Fangyu Ta'. And 'Laozi Gate' instead of 'LaoziGate'?

It's probably the very same thing. In the German translation, I put a space character.

In the German translation, I put a space character. Imho it definitely should get a space. (I have no idea what the Great Tower is.) So the 'idle workers' thingy now has a number; but it shows '9' while i have ten citizens not doing anything. Don't horsies count?

Don't horsies count? horsies do count (in fact everything that has the class "worker" counts) In the case of the han, the minister isn't a worker and therefore doesn't count in the counter / he can't be idle as he can't actually work
Gurken Khan
@maroderBut horsies don't have the 'worker' class. 15 minutes ago, maroder said: In the case of the han, the minister isn't a worker and therefore doesn't count in the counter / he can't be idle as he can't actually work Right. It took me a bit to figure out the Minister has 2 pop count. (I just subtracted 1 from my pop, that's why I thought i had 10 idles...) Salesome
Hellas random map is waaaay too bright. It hurts my eyes. Tweaking the sun angle just a bit makes it much better. On a general note, the sun should not produce overrexposed maps when at the zenith (which it does on other maps, too). There is a "sun overbrightness" slider anyway (which is at zero in this map). IMHO, the install script (Windows) should default to creating a desktop shortcut (opt-out instead of opt-in). It is way easier to delete one shortcut too much than having to navigate through obscure folders to find the game's EXE file if you forgot to check it (like I did multiple times just now). Sevda
Some feedbacks: Can't see hosted games in the lobby Ratings don't work Added graphics settings = good. Han-Specific: Magonels are powerful and accurate - good. Crossbow infantry is useless - bad Economy is amazing with the Han, especially their farming: 41 farmers on only level 1 farming upgrade could sustain unit spam. The civic centre's footprint is a lot larger than it's actual size, so there are bands surrounding the main building where you can't build anything. This is a bit confusing when you are building fields around the CC. Storehouses look too similar to civilian houses, which in turn looks identical to farmsteads. (No problem, can be resolved by StarGUI) Imperial Academy??? I would recommend decreasing their price or move some champions to barracks as the Han really needs champions. Sun Tzu's Art of war tech is too expensive.

Obelix
German language sometime tends to let speakers create very long sentences ... the tool tip on the upper right corner needs to get more space (or the translation needs to get shorter). The build date in the left corner on the bottom seems to be incorrect (25.05.2022), guessing it must have been in the very last days. That's because of the update it can do. the defensive CC is bigger and to avoid it clipping other buildings after being updated, the standard version needs to have a larger footprint as well. Ah yeah thanks for reminding me of this. Two C++files control this and since we do not do a full rebuild the date doesn't get updated.

The translation seems fine to me. I guess it's just that German words are longer on average. Since space isn't that critical in that corner, allowing the box to have a line or two more seems like the best solution for me. But I don't know if we have someone working on UI. Since cut-off sentences are obviously not ideal, maybe alternatively the German translation could be shortened to fit in the box.
Fabius
Having done an initial read through and evaluation of the civ changes, Four things have stood out to me. Firstly the Athenian second phase champion marine, I like it, a lot, enough to actually play Athens more. Secondly the Persian champion cavalry archer, a nice addition, however identical to to the champion chariot in stats and also unlocked along with the champion cavalry. Persian chariots are now a redundant unit and will never see play again unless for pure aesthetic reasons. And thirdly, and more personally, the Roman civ overview is a pathetic far cry from A23, three alphas and Rome has received nothing new in that time period, just a significant loss of unique features and a few returned features. Far as I am concerned Rome has been the harshest treated civ out of everything. At least give the Roman players something please. Also fourthly, Han is good, I like the clear effort to give it lots of interesting features, It does make me depressed that other civs are not as differentiated though.

Keep in mind that new features are not the only way to improve a civ, and seemingly unrelated balance changes may open up many more gameplay opportunities for that civ.
