Well, maybe where I mentioned the part of your message that I deleted I've forgotten the exact word you used, but it was worse than stupid, so maybe you shouldn't question your own words, but rather try to choose them more carefully before writing them.

@JC (naval supremacist) In a way you was the one who sent it to his screen, so I'm not sure how offensive it was that he recorded that you sent it. And while shut up might not be a polite way to say no thanks it's a long way away from even calling people cowards as you did just before, but certainly from racial slurs. I really don't see how you even jokingly can see yourself as a gentleman in this situation.

If you want to change the situation, maybe explain why you think the banning is not warranted? You say that he has banned you multiple times, that does seem to indicate that you have created multiple accounts, in which case the bans would be justified. Right now there is very little to support your argument (and if anything what you say suggests that you are wrong), so it's hard to see any reason why the bans wouldn't be justified.

I'm really not understanding what you are looking for. What I'm seeing in this thread is someone coming to complain about something not being noticed or cared about, several months after it was cared about enough to be included in the game. And I'm certainly not seeing how people pointing to your contribution being cared about can be seen as something either entitled or rude. People did indeed display confusion and amusement at your angry comments contrasted to the reality being opposite of what you were suggesting, which might not be polite, but which certainly is understandable given how surprising they were. People cannot edit their posts without moderators and admins being able to see it, so either you are likely to have misunderstood or just misremembered it. Either way, my main reason for commenting was that I was genuinely confused. Especially why you tried to continue making something an issue where there never was one to begin with. At least not apart from possible miscommunication or similar. Which is of course serious, but which certainly isn't going to be helped if you are looking for insults and issues.

I really don't get it. Do you want to be banned from both the lobby and the forums? What is it you are looking for? Because if not you should be careful inviting others to provide more and more proof of your bad behaviour. There have been people supporting you, saying there are real world causes for your behaviour and that you have tried to behave better. Right now though almost everything I see seems to indicate that you for some reason don't want to even try to be a nice person. Punishment rarely helps to change someones behaviour, but at least banning you would make the place nicer for others.

Well, this being an internet forum I don't think we can require of people to be formal. And I would suggest that if you want people to like you more, the best way is to treat them better than they treat you. Might cost a bit more effort at first, but it will pay off in the long run.

"Talking to me without permission"? If you use these forums you have to be prepared to have people reply to you and mention you. There is quite the difference between him saying that what you said was humourous but underappreciated and you calling people stupid (but with less polite words).

No. One previous member was banned. Argue with the decision if you want, but don't present it as something else than it was. There's quite a difference between closing a door after someone who has left and pushing someone who wants to stay out.

@StopKillingMe If you want to discuss the merits or bad things about @borg-'s mod, please do so on specific and concrete grounds, and not just some generic "it's not the way it used to be" or "it doesn't say things this way in the design document". Nothing holds any value on its own, if you can't explain why there is less reason to mention it at all than if you can explain why your point should be taken seriously. And also more specifically in this thread, the Design Document etc doesn't really matter, what matters is the aspects of the mod borg has created and their merit in and of themselves. If you want to discuss whether or not parts of the mod or the entire mod should be included in the main game, please create a new topic to do so.

This doesn't really seem to be possible to lead anywhere positive, so I'm closing this topic.

I think I will just lock this thread for now, it's gone too far off the rails as it is. If someone wants to discuss @borg-'s mod there's a thread for that, if someone wants to discuss the gameplay there are I don't know how many where you can do that, and if you actually do want to discuss the balancing for the development version of the game someone can start a thread with some more specific discussion. @StopKillingMe Do consider this a warning, if you don't treat other people on these forums with more respect your access to these forums will be limited. In general if you want to criticise something and have your criticism taken seriously it's more successful to be specific and provide examples than to just dismiss something as a whole.

Being here since 2007 helps with getting a high number of posts, plus at least in the past there were a lot of staff-only discussions which means that it's not always visible how active the forums are or have been.

Will your behaviour improve? Honestly though, both my time, and your time, is better spent on constructive things than silliness, so just leave it and move on.

@thankforpie I'm leaning very close to banning you if you keep this up, please stop with this nonsense. If you want to make things up go write a novel or something.

What's the point of that comment? It's not true as you can see if you go to the link in the post before yours (there has been changes as late as today), and it can only confuse or demoralize people. Of course it would have been nice if there had been more activity, we're at least as disappointed as anyone else, but if you want that to change it's better to offer advice or help.
