  1. I don't mind changing either, but I need a good reason. I don't see it as a big deal right now.
  2. This is actually not a problem. All societies used all types of weapons throughout the history. The bow isn't important enough in Rome to be in the game, though that doesn't mean it was never used.
  3. We had changes from that from a24 to a25. I don't remember for sure the reasons for the changes, but it had to do with better economic balance.
  4. Just add a blacklist, where you can't be paired against anyone on your list. This has been around for at least 15 years in other games.
  5. For differencing civs, you have to put balance to one side for a moment. Try not to think about how this can affect the balance, but the gameplay.
  6. I'm working 2 or 3 changes for each civilization. It's not much, just to give a direction and characteristic for each civilization.

We have several practical problems within the leaderboard, one of them is that inactive accounts remain with unchanging rating, this coupled with the fact that some players only play tg, or only play 1v1 unrated, makes it difficult to measure with pressure the players' level. This is not an argument to dismiss the current system as irrelevant. If you give me the name of any player I know, even if they don't have a rating, I can tell you with a certain amount of pressure how many points that player should have. So yes, it is possible to know through points, what is the skill level of each one.
  8. It is natural for the general skill level to increase. Skill level 2000 from 5 years ago is not the same as today. This is logic, it shouldn't even be an argument.

  10. The fact is that we seek to differentiate some civilizations from others. It was a civilization that didn't use walls, as far as I know of history, that doesn't mean it never did somewhere. Not having stone walls seems like a legitimate trait to me.

  12. Maybe I expressed badly. General reset, all back to 1200. Yes, I think it would be interesting to include 4v4 games as well, although that is perhaps something for another discussion. @Stan`could this bring some sort of performance benefit to the lobby?
  13. @Stan`there will be a portion (small I think) that won't like it, but that doesn't seem like a problem to me. If cleaning brings benefits, why not? We would have a current table, clean of inactives and part of the smurfs, it could also encourage high level players like feldfeld and valih to come back to the game.
  14. @Stan` is possible to have the rating reset to a27? I mean, the top 100 is full of inactive players and smurf accounts as well. I think it would be interesting to have this reset every so often.
  15. I have* Brazil has 5 world championships and has not "had" 5 championships. Records and titles are at present. When I die or retire you can use "had"
  16. I have the highest rating of all time, without using smurf, mods it's obsession with being the best at what you are proposed to do. Rating is just the result of that.
  17. Do like me, don't say anything, just kick. Berhudar has (that I know) at least 5 smurf accounts. It doesn't matter if we know he's a berhudar, if I win against the real account, I get more points than with the smurf, and that's fairer.

  22. This does not happen in minimally competitive games. Some players like cesar like to use turtle, but it is rarely effective, catapults and rams can do the job. 40 minutes of no attacks happen only in extremely casual games. In minimally competitive games, you can end the game in the first few minutes with a cavalry rush for example.
