  1. It's already possible to introduce a negative health trickle, however the initial grace period concept is not something that is implemented. It would be interesting for ships, etc. to have realistic things like this if we were opting for a handful of ships, but more recent changes to Naval Combat have tried to push things toward larger numbers of ships with more dynamic combat, making upkeep probably a pain in the patookis.
  2. Mainly just talking about the 2 guys with full beards, 6th from the left. The others are good. I realize this is just a nitpick. lol
  3. Nice catch. But then I think the new faces should more closely match the references (the Terracotta Army statues are fantastic references; while a giant modern bronze statue depicting an heroic figure notsomuch). Looks like they skipped "full" beards (or couldn't grow them?) and went with various chin and mustache combos, at least in the army.
  4. I wouldn't mind including this small elegant detail while also adding something more noticeable and dramatic.
  5. Yeah, even 0 A.D.'s "turtling" doesn't feel like much of a turtle. To me, it's about layers of defenses, walls, towers, etc. Sure, you see Fortress and tower pushes, but that's not turtling to me. 0 A.D.'s exceptionally wide placement minimum for towers and fortresses doesn't feel like turtling to me.
  6. I don't think the Chinese at this time are known for their thick black beards. But maybe I'm wrong??
  7. AOE2 is also popular because rush, turtle, and boom are all viable options.
  8. Do I need an all-knew cloned instance of the game?

  11. Farmsteads are about the size of a house, so it needs to look bigger/have more props/be bigger.
  12. There's still room for quotes on the loading screen if we add something else (like map screenshots and/or player status).

  14. IRC is nice and lightweight, but in the past 20 years I've only used it for WFG. So, whatever chat solution that is chosen I will use. Because I have very little experience with chat programs, I'll refrain from giving a strong opinion.
  15. I have no notes. Looks nice. Maybe the Previous/Next buttons should be consistent with the rest of the UI. I think the loading screen tips were for something to look at as the map loads. The flip book idea is much better and allows people to browse the tips at their leisure. The loading screen should be changed to something more relevant to the upcoming match.
  16. Tried following that tut for the Aphrodite statue, remember? Got bad results, but maybe I can try it for this structure.
  17. I've noticed it before on some other minor things, but what you pointed out is a particularly egregious example. We should address that.
  18. IMHO, the game just needs some kind of singleplayer meta.
  19. Improving the Farmstead. I'm wondering if someone could bake a new AO for it. I've tried baking AO's before and mine have sucked. lol
  20. Can have a ladder to the door, but still have a stone base/first floor, while the door is on the 2nd floor.
