Hey steve, sorry you're having trouble. As noted on 0 A.D. | A free, open-source game of ancient warfare (play0ad.com) IMPORTANT: Since the bundle is not signed on certain macOS version you might need to unlock the app. You can do so by running the following command in the terminal after installing: xattr -cr /Applications/0\ A.D..app

That's the community mod. Else it's a whole new release. No in between.

Well technically you're free to distribute your mod with say A23. To have a LTS though we need more people.

Actually it was the case for A25 and maybe A24 too At least now you know you shouldn't extract it Pyromod should do the mod.json installation by itself.

I don't understand, the mod structure is correct for installation, you should just drag and drop on 0 A.D.

As stated earlier there is no guarantee that anything from the mod will be kept/backported. So it's possible a new one will be created after that. And if you drop everything there is no point of keeping the same repo. -

Not yet, we're having some issues building boost on Windows for some reason I haven't been able to figure out. -
Various reasons, mostly the reception and critics that might doom this project, license considerations, capacity too, the lobby server might not withstand a 1000 players not to mention the moderation. Also pretty sure that's not where developpers are.

Yeah it's correct until we start providing 64bit builds for Windows you'll be limited to 4GB no matter what. -

@valdiusryb @Graham1 As a counter measure you can disable persist match settings. See the following video. Note that it means your settings will be reset at each match. VIDEO_PERSIST.mp4 -
Yeah we talked about this yesterday, it might have counterbalanced the pushing changes for rams.
