  3. "Ptolemy"? The champions of the Ptolemaic faction are agema pikeman and spear cavalry. Athenians have three, with one requiring an inconsistent technological research item in the council hall (prythaneon). I believe he is talking about the Thureophoros. Eventually I'd like to see them being either switchable or throw a javelin before closing with their spear.

  4. @LetswaveaBook's mod showed us a few things about balancing, in particular across civs. One thing that I thought was great from this mod was allowing persians to train both spear and skrim cav during p1. Currently pers are basically only good in the very late game, and if you want to do a p2 archercav rush. I think it would reaffirm pers as a cavalry civ and a good/decent rushing civ. It would also bring more benefit to the stables which used to be persia's unique building. Thoughts?

  5. This is a nice map, very well thought out, but it currently produces a lot of errors when loading. I was thinking about removing it from the community maps 2 mod. Has anyone played this map yet?

  8. Gate of All Nations could be a part of the "Wonders of the World" roster in Atlas, that's also used in a "Capture the Wonder" game mode.

  9. Forgot about that. In Han dynasty, there are multiple administrative levels, called 郡县制 (jùn xiàn zhì, Prefectures and counties): 州 (Zhōu) > 郡 (Jùn) > 县 (Xìan) > 乡 (Xiāng) > 里 (Lĭ) So, City -> 郡 (Jùn), Town -> 县 (Xìan), Village -> 乡 (Xiāng) might be appropriate, too. The actual meaning is also very close. BTW, "都Du/京Jing" means the capital city.

  13. As the Han Chinese faction is being included with the next alpha, let's also propose the names of the town and city phases for the notification and phase-up tech. One that has been neglected for some of the other factions... For the town phase, how about Chéngshì (城市, Dyeng-dyu)? For city, Dūshì (都市, Ta-dyu). Can't find a better one for the former though.

  15. I hope these cover all the potrait needs. I'm punching above my skill level while working on this so its been a great practice and pardon if theres lil weirdness here and there. I do always kinda want to make her slightly unconventionally attractive. I hope I can convey that with the slight lower jaw protrusion, the caked make up, and that nose because after watching Mortal Face take on her, I cant shake up to not hint a bit about her inbred family history.

I have to point out that the Han Dynasty did not have the repeating crossbow, it was a weapon that appeared more than a thousand years later, and the Han army did not like to use the crossbow on the horse, and the Han cavalry and chariots used the bow. Therefore, there should be no cavalry and repeaters using crossbows in the game.

  19. It looks interesting. it would be necessary to see how practical a large structure is. In the case of a large structure, which is wonderful to us, it would be the only one on the map and in the center, for some king of the hill variant mode.

  20. Improved Stone Mines for India, and you can definitely see fewer grass sprites. We need new models for the "small" Metal mines that pair with the new metal mines added in A25, as the current "small" metal mines re-use the small stone mine models. @Stan`

  21. Oh, I started working on this one back when this thread came up, but I didn't finish it because I started working on higher priority things. I reused several assets from Pureon's awesome persian buildings. It needs the human-headed-winged-bulls in the back gate and eyecandy everywhere. I'll upload the blendfile if someone wants to finish it.
