  7. I would like to know if this game has generated a map of an inverted world for Eastern Africa. I have been working with a "mapmaker" but wondering if there is an existing map out there. Attached is my draft version which is full of AI errors, they apparently forgot that the red sea needed to be switched...
  8. You can still check out Classical AEA... they actually should move a little faster IMO since they had 0 armor.... although most skirmishers had zero resistance. But helots have less HP, less dmg and dont get forge techs in CWA, but they are cheap to produce and have civilian gather rates (which are better than cs)
  9. When I said the Attic dialect is more "authentic", of course I meant in reference to Athens. The problem is, Spartans would use the Doric dialect, which would mean all their Ancient Greek names in the game should ideally be revised, but I didn’t manage to find an Attic to Doric translator. One could follow some transformation rules, but would be a bit time consuming and error prone for a non-expert.

  13. I think there’s a balance to find between resigning too early and staying overly stubborn. If you feel like your teammates are still enjoying the game, still have a decent economy or population, then there is always a chance to come back, even if it’s small. In team games especially, one player being behind doesn’t necessarily mean the game is lost. On the other hand, if people start resigning too quickly, then a huge number of games would basically be decided on the first rush. We’d probably see something like 70–80% of games ending right after the first big fight, which removes a lot of what makes team games interesting: comebacks, coordination, and late-game decisions. So in my opinion, it’s less about whether you personally think the game is lost, and more about the overall situation of your team. If others are still in a good position or still trying to play it out, it’s usually better to stay and see where it goes.

  18. Well, AI don't make perfect videos or pictures. I have seen some that all persons in the scene have the same face haha. But anyways, is the most "realistic" view I have gotten until now from Carthage city.
  19. Still not what it "ACTUALLY Looked Like" :P. That fits around 50 warships in the outer ring, and the inner ring is not being used. In reality, it would have been around 200* total (military port only, the circular one). Something closer to this:
  20. @Thalatta when a person resigns his units and everythina becomes 'gia' and attacks anything nearby. i f in enemy base attacks enemy or if ally base attacks ally. better to delete everything then resign.

  22. hmm, you are right.. maybe a -2 range would make more sense... I just want sparta players to be more melee based. right now, due to brasidas most are making it jav based army. and its actually better than a melee focused army "sparta is a great civ, and hence needs a nerf" is why i said helot javs should get a nerf
