Yes agreed. i can modify your idea... 1. More in game moderators pick from the regular players who spends a lot of time in the game, this way most of the time there will be someone who is playing and observing if anything bad happening. 2. They should have the power to mute form lobby, give TIMEOUT like short time 'ban' from the lobby to abusive or toxic players or alt fake accounts. But before doing that, they should always take screen shots for justification and post them in a moderator group chat. This way bias decisions or power abuse will not happen.

And instead of hollow accusations, lies, show me proof, if I have done or said anything bad or wronged anyone, I will apologize for my mistakes and face the consequences. I have zero intension of making someone quit, neither I have the power to do anything since I am just a normal player. All I want is to be left alone from all the harassment and threats. I want to remind everyone the first message you see when you join the lobby everytime you log in: So, if anyone getting harrasssed, take screenshots and and follow these instructions. I have heard stories and faced it myself, people trying to play victim or changing the narrative after commiting an offense for their own agenda or sometimes may be for just some quick trolling and laugh. So, first of all, if you are facing something bad don't tackle it with firing back bad words, please don't give in to anger. Use in game settings like MUTE, KICK, BAN. Saying things bad back at harassment will muddy the situation more. BE THE BIGGER PERSON, have patience, document what's happening with Screenshots and then get in touch with the moderators.

I was not planning to post about this on forum, because its very dirty part of 0ad. But someone needs to do something about it. i been playing this game for 2 years now and i love it. These are all the dirty truth that should come out and aware the community. Instead of observing drama and laughing at it, players who enjoy this game, care about it, spending time on it should come forward, discuss, take steps to find solutions. AND IF I HAVE DONE ANYTHING WORNG towards diagonalo, or wronged anyone else in a way, they can come forward with proof, I will apologize publicly for my mistakes. @Chasca @MarcusAureliu#s @Dunedan

@Atrik i agree with you on most of the things, but on this policing thing i disagree because i have been getting harassed for 5 days now constantly. For using a in game setting "ban" to keep away harassment from the game i host. You been online, you have seen all the death threats, cursing about me and my my mod, all the disrespect and harassment even though i haven't said a single thing towards him accept to "Leave Me Alone". Not just you the whole lobby been seeing these for 5 days, but where are the in game moderators? I have been pinging @Dunedan all the time but he responded once only in game and just said follow the instructions if you want to report anything while there was bad game name on top of it, dia cursing my mom, for him to see and it stayed there for a long time. But nothing happened, no one watching anything in game and people getting away with harassing others. You know me, all other regular player knows me, Tell me what have i done to deserve this? How do i respond toward this? He did the same thing in 0ad enjoyers discord Infront of the discord moderator @TheCJ and got banned for it. Making nub remarks or debate over game on online games are common and normally people gets over it next day. But these are not okay, attaching some ss from last 5 days below. They are cropped because of upload max size, if anyone wants i have 76 ss zipped from last 5 days. I can show u where i haven't said a single bad thing towards him, only banned him from my hosted games to keep harassment away, and i got cursed at, disrespectful words towards my mom, multiple death threats and constant harassment from his alt accounts. I am getting exhausted of all this. And if anyone curious about why i banned him, here is the context how it started well explained,

I am really sorry you had to experience this. There is a very high in increase in alt fake accounts these days and this this type of behaviors. Good that you recorded the Convo and posted here for awareness. Whenever you face this type of situation, record or SS these then DM @Dunedan here in forum. He is the moderator who looks into these. And I see you spent lots of time with him, my personal suggestion is when you get into this situation, use in game settings like MUTE - it will mute that user for you so no matter what they says you won't see and BAN - this will ban them from the games you host or KICK - to kick that user from your game. How to use - type in chat box "/ban <userName>" Or /mute, /kick Also for the 0ad community, specially who been playing regularly and seeing this alt fake accounts behavior everyday, what do you guys think we should do on this matter? How do we keep the community respectful. Gaming heated argument or nub remarks, trash talks are part of online game I think and should be forgotten, not taken seriously. BUT harrassment should not be tolerated. This is my personal opinion.

@Thalatta when a person resigns his units and everythina becomes 'gia' and attacks anything nearby. i f in enemy base attacks enemy or if ally base attacks ally. better to delete everything then resign.

Diagonalo I wrote all those off topic things there because as you can see in those multiple ss you attached, you made a big deal of me banning you and not wanting you to join my games, said I rage baited you and toxic behavior. Also you sent me the link in the game and said you made a post and I should add my comments so I did explain my actions and how got there to that conclusion. And about the game before that which taunted you "resign?" On your failed rush, which you didn't, is the main point of all these. I taunted cuz you do this a lot, resign games. And as you can see you didn't resign and your team won, made a good come back, that was cool and big part of the game. The other games that you did resign couldve turned out the same way. When you play a 8 players game you don't get to decide if it's playable or not cuz that effects other players in the game. As you can see how they were surprised, your teammates and mad at you in that game.

@Dunedan @Chasca @Atrik Let me know if there any tools to keep prevent these DDoS or losing my account to brute-force password thing. As a not very technical on this matter dude i am a little paranoid.

Hello! so i guess i gotta clarify and since its a public post people should know what went down and how things turned into this. so First of all, people who regularly play with us know we make rules like banning units, either host or by making polls. so like every game i said i stated rules before the game NO RULES, all allowed multiple times and all agreed. game played out and it was very intense, all players were deep in it. Then diagonalo lost a battle and resigned suddenly. Here is how his team mates and others reacted after his sudden resign attached below. His teammates Decger and i_am_groot was shocked and not happy as u can see. wrote "why i keep letting him play", because this isn't the first time. there were games he will rush and do bad then resign min 4 or 5 wasting other 7 p[layers time. Doing bad is not a problem, team game people helps each other out and its part of the game doing something and failing. In this game, Decger even said "dont let him play" you can see in the ss. After he resigned eric the other team player said he will go afk and we tried to make 3 v3 work but the game, intensity dried out, ruined the game. SO THIS IS THE CONTEST ON THAT GAME. In his screenshots you can see i banned him and told him not to join my game cuz i dont want to waste mine or other players time, just wanna have good game and enjoy my off time. He can also pick and chose who he wants to play with, i dont see how i rage baited him or did something toxic. In that game that moment what he did, i did not like him. And there are some reasons why i banned him and told him not to join my games. Let me explain below this ss with another 2 other ss. So diagonalo had his issue with erictummy everyone knows some market exploit thing some drama on and off. So 2 or 3 days ago, Diagonalo joined a game and said to me he is quitting 0ad because of my toxic friend(i guess meant eric) and left without any explanation or which friend or why telling me. Then after a while he was playing a game then i asked about his quitting and this was his reply below. Then this week diagonalo really did took Erics 2nd account "Banality" and pretended to be eric and was acting weird then eric told me it was him and he also confirmed. So this guy, Diagonalo, Quits game as he wishes in 8 player team games, He says he brute-force passwords and DDoS lobby, stole some ones account, I just personally don't find it very cool. And on top of that, He claims i am rage baiting him, i am toxic. I find it very energy draining and frustrating to deal with this type or people, that's why i told him no to join my game. And to you man, Diagonalo, I am not the center of the world, please leave me alone stop joining my game or make it look like i'm the bad guy and you are the victim. Please enjoy your game time and let me enjoy mine. And to the 0ad community, i don't know how brute-force password or DDoS work, most of the games we played yesterday and today, was lagging and people kept dropping one by one, which doesn't or didn't happen recently, like units were stuck not moving. So, with his words and the game situation sudden crazy lag, please let me know how i can prevent this such attacks. Thank you!
