  6. Dear historians @Thorfinn the Shallow Minded @Ceres Please suggest some champion units and heroes for the Thracians. What cavalry did they use? What siege weapons did they have? Do they have any specialties to distinguish them from other Hellenic civs?

  8. At the moment it is just about parallel research. I don't think most players can afford to research techs at that rate if we give it a bonus. The only reason why I can afford this is because I have mined a lot of metal in village phase and can barter more using excess food or stone.
  9. An interesting proposal! I will look into the programming side of that. So you still want pierce damage then? Perhaps it should be given a capture attack.
  10. I have never used myself, and rarely encountered any elephant archers at all, so I am not sure about changing them. There are two ways to deal with siege tower roles: 1. Make them a proper siege weapon, in which case give them all crush damage and a damage penalty against units, e.g <Multiplier>0.5</Multiplier> 2. Intend to use them as anti-archer units and give them all pierce, no crush. In this case they would do little damage against buildings and hurt ranged infantry a lot. I like the current arrow output, and I wouldn't mind if you increase the max capacity to 20.
  11. Just the eagle itself is not OP because it has almost no attack and can be shot down easily. A unit carrying it, however, means more protection and so it is OP.

  14. Let me think. So we have an eagle holder and the eagle can be released. That is still two units, if you would like to control the eagle. Another solution is we give the eagle holder a lot of vision range to simulate the eagle doing reconnaissance for her, however this might be OP.

Possible reason: a part of that terrain is considered buildable for buildings, so the foundation can be placed down across the two types of terrains, as long as the greater part of the foundation is in the buildable terrain. However, it might be impossible for the worker to walk to an edge of the building and start working on it as they might be forced to traverse through an unpassable terrain. In this situation I recommend just deleting the foundation before you start and build it elsewhere. You won't lose much resources.
  16. I build 2 blacksmith anyways to upgrade the infantry in time, before the first confrontation. But summoning the top players: @LetswaveaBook @Player of 0AD @ValihrAnt @chrstgtr @borg- What do you think about the 3 town phase buildings? Should they all be different?

  19. The game mechanics intended that 3 of the same structures is fine, and I like that as I can skip to P3 quicker. There aren't that many buildings choices for most civs so I think that is reasonable. However, for Carthage and Kush we can force them to build 4 or more town structures as their apartment buildings, embassies and camps all count as town buildings.
  20. Please elaborate your idea a bit more: do you mean a unit doing the eagle's job (swiftly traversing enemy territory and flying over water) or someone who carries the eagle close and let the eagle to the reconnaissance?

  22. Why is this poor kid still on A23? We need to update the apt package manager; debian-based users would still be playing A23 when A25 is out
  23. I did not touch DE, I just copied from the public.zip of Empires Ascendant. But oh well, I guess I will leave it as it was.
