  1. Another error report: This occured when I was playing on the newest map Bactriana. There was some intense fights between Persians and Seleucids then this happened suddenly. However the game was already unstable before the crash, with random freezes. The background music keeps playing after the crash, which is curious.
  2. So that means if the wrong players joins the game they need to be made an observer. I am not sure if we need to modify the lobby in order to achieve this, better ping the lobby admins. I don't think this will be a thing in A25, let's work on it for A26. Would be good if you can do the programming, I don't think I can figure out this one.
  3. Another thing: units tend to run for a long time instead of walk after I put them into a formation. However I like this as running means I can get to the enemy quicker!

  5. Easy way: rename metal to bronze because it is set in the Bronze Age and Iron was not discovered back then.
  6. Another solution: make the entire giant canopy into its selection box, so that units cannot go under the canopy and you cannot build under it. You chop wood by standing next to the canopy instead of going under it.

  8. When can we create our A25 trailer? I managed to get my hand's on Robin's Bilibili account and password, so I can post stuff there and on Youtube as soon as you release anything. @Stan` Are you making the trailer for this release?
  9. As some of you who tested A25 may find, the Mainland map in A25 is still not quite balanced in terms of resource distribution. We would still require the balanced maps mod in order to generate very fair maps. However, this mod is not yet available for A25. Therefore it would be helpful if someone can convert this mod to be available for A25 (or show me the raw files and I will have a go). Also, why don't we implement it as an official feature? 1 Player getting 4 patches of berries while others having no woodline is not ideal. Also, another problem: when I try to download mods in git A25 it is full of A25 mods and no A25 mods present.
  10. What were you trying to do here @zyli ? After which command did these errors flag up? I would recommend sudo apt-get update then reinstall the build dependencies for 0AD
  11. For svn the atlas would be automatically included, no need to specify atlas when compiling. For Windows 10 you need to download atlas.dll, put it into the pyrogenesis folder and restart the game.
  12. An idea came to my mind today: since Aristeia is based on the Bronze age, why not introduce a new resourcce of bronze? We can even introduce tin and copper then make the players synthesise bronze from these 2. So the resources would be: food, wood, stone, tin, copper. What do you think? Also Khopesh warriors of Egypt deserves better stats than they currently have.
  13. I am trying to create a unit which is capable of both shooting arrows and using swords to hack if the enemy gets close. How would I achieve this? It would be ideal to switch attack type by holding down control. So basically a multipurpose unit that is an archer and a swordsman at the same time.
  14. If you guys can give me all of the small mods or some requirements that you would like then I can collate all of them into a big mod, then call it 'Empires Extended'. But of course some balancing advisors will be needed to sort out the clashes. Currently we have: Bellum mod Rotation and train time mod Mercenaries mod by Letswaveabook NROC Autociv Thorfinn mod (implemented into Bellum Mod already)
  15. The iberian template file is missing or the directory is wrong. I think the map is trying to put an Iberian champion infantry somewhere on the map but the directory it is referring to is wrong. The location of champion templates have moved in A25.
  16. @Player of 0ADi meant let autotrain be a mod, instead of a default feature.
  17. Let's leave autotrain as a single, independent mod instead of an official feature in the public mod.
  18. How can we convert his mod into A25 compatible? I copied his js files and did the renamings as he said bu they gave me loads of error messages.

New civs: Very ready civs: Han, Thebans, Epirotes, Xiongnu (All artwork and templates complete, no bugs, may need some final balancing) Almost ready civs: Judeans, Thracians, Zapotec (No bugs left, some artworks need polishing and balancing is debatable, need intensive testing) Not ready but started: Illyrians, Dacians, Ponies. (Still a lot of bugs to be fixed) Planned: Aksum, Balkans as a whole, Greek subfactions.
  23. You mean treat the Attic Greek civs like Seleucids, you choose to unlock either pikes (agyraspides) or swords based on which tech you research?
  24. Can you watch those and get some ideas on unit roster meanwhile I sort out the Illyrians. I have just finished off the Judes and they need testing. Download Judes from here, just download the zip, extract into the right folder and enable in A25.
