First of all, all of the biomes are beautiful, so well done to all of the map makers and art department. However, I just need to point out the nub biomes: 1. Sudanian Savanna is nub, because of weird tree distribution. 2. Nubia is nub as the name suggests, as you can't really tell the fruit trees from regular palm trees. Tree distribution is also a bit strange. All other biomes are fine for TG, but watch out for the very small bushes.

OP We want the worker elephant to be difficult to manage, so that Mauryan players have to have good skill in order to boom well.

Yeah, exfat doesn't work. I have tried exfat storage before and I get crashes even when moving files, so I recommend installing Debian properly on a ext4 hard drive. Ext4 probably has better performance as well.

Are you also on Windows 10? I had a few chrome tabs open, that might be why. Also I use a laptop which has stricty tdp limits.

They are both based on Ubuntu. Zorin OS is not open source and the pro version costs money, so I stay away from it. It is also a little bit slow due to the desktop environment. Zorin OS also aims to resemble Windows 10, which is a poor choice of role model. Mint is lightweight and is sufficient for Linux nubs. Everything is good apart from apt package manager. In general, I recommend getting the very basic grandparent distros (debian, arch, fedora) then customise the OS by yourself instead of using some superficial distro customised by other people.

Linux mint is based on Ubuntu,it is a derivative of Ubuntu. So it has the exact same problems.
