  1. How can we convert his mod into A25 compatible? I copied his js files and did the renamings as he said bu they gave me loads of error messages.

New civs: Very ready civs: Han, Thebans, Epirotes, Xiongnu (All artwork and templates complete, no bugs, may need some final balancing) Almost ready civs: Judeans, Thracians, Zapotec (No bugs left, some artworks need polishing and balancing is debatable, need intensive testing) Not ready but started: Illyrians, Dacians, Ponies. (Still a lot of bugs to be fixed) Planned: Aksum, Balkans as a whole, Greek subfactions.
  6. You mean treat the Attic Greek civs like Seleucids, you choose to unlock either pikes (agyraspides) or swords based on which tech you research?
  7. Can you watch those and get some ideas on unit roster meanwhile I sort out the Illyrians. I have just finished off the Judes and they need testing. Download Judes from here, just download the zip, extract into the right folder and enable in A25.   9. I would need you to suggest a unit roster and a structure tree, then some ideas on their architectural style. Any unit roster and structure tree should be easy to implement for me. I especially need you to work with the historians to determine the heroes, unit types available, champions, navy and any civ bonuses.
  10. Surely you have to judge a civ based on more factors than that. We can introduce some unique concepts for example swimming champions for Illyrians, reconnaissance eagles for Mongolians and war tigers.
  11. I read the post. Theban assets are in the game but there is no {civ}.json file for them, which is why they do not show up on the structure tree. With a few tweaks I can make them appear

  14. Also, I forgot about the Etruscans, Garamantians and Sassanids.
  15. But what do you think about the ones I suggested though? They have been overlooked. Aksum is especially important because they defeated the Kushites and were one of the major world powers at the time, existing over a span of approximately 1 millenium.
  16. Dear historians @Genava55 @Ultimate Aurelian @Thorfinn the Shallow Minded what do you think about adding this civs? Can you suggest any unit rosters, structure tree and heroes, as well as bonuses? Can these civs be merged into one big civ? Do we have too many Greeks? Perhaps we should look elsewhere: Olmecs, Aksum, Koreans, Japanese, Funan (modern day Cambodia + Thailand + Vietnam)?

  18. KK I have a rough idea of what their houses look like now. But I can't edit the png and dds files, unless you teach me. Stone houses - houses need to cost stone?! That sounds difficult. These people are already short on stone anyways.
  19. Maybe not completely ban pathfinding, because you need it to move the unit. But maybe limit it to straight lines and dodging only. I know you are joking, but I think it is a good idea!
  20. What I am thinking is that the houses may have been painted white or a light colour once upon a time. If you can teach me how to edit the textures .png files that would help me a lot.
  21. We should win a match by using our pure skills and strategy, not relying on some AI program to help as micromanage. That would take the fun out of 0AD and we might as well let AIs fight each other. So /ban autotrain
  22. Perhaps this feature could be added to the Illyrians, not so much for the Judeans because they were more of a land-based civ suited to fighting in the desert.
