  1. Welcome to the forums. I don't know about your ceasefire question, but there are other ways to get into the game. When starting a match, by clicking the cog you can set the difficulty and behavior of the enemy. You can also slow down time. That should give you enough breathing room, but there's also guides on youtube and in other formats that can help you. Or just ask questions, I'm sure people will answer.
  2. Ah. I looked a bit but didn't find it. I think "null cee ee" sounds even better.
  3. Yeah, that's the only way I've heard it up to now. Dunno if it's spelt out somewhere "officially". Wouldn't be surprised if it flows better for a lot of people in their native language.
  4. It's also a perfectly fine English word - for the specifics see e.g. https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/null The problem is that it is not the game's proper name.
  5. Well, I would, assuming they'd post on a forum that's associated with the game they're having trouble with. logs would show it anyway...
  6. Welcome to the forums. You don't even tell us what OS you're on? Best would be to locate your logs, zip and attach them to your reply. https://trac.wildfiregames.com/wiki/GameDataPaths
  7. I didn't see anything interesting, but I'm not really a techie. The only thing I can think of is maybe choosing a different renderer backend in the graphics options.
  8. Welcome to the forums. How to locate logs: https://trac.wildfiregames.com/wiki/GameDataPaths hwdetect and interestinglog could be interesting, but you can just zip the folder and attach it to your post. (Best after you had an incident and before you restarted the game.)
  9. I think this "loading map data" is solved by installing the community mod (or disabling regicide).
  10. @sim4seasons Welcome to the forums. I ain't especially experienced with this mod, but you have installed it and chosen on the mod page as active?
  11. @alre Imagine seeing a post that you're now in charge of something..
  12. Welcome to the forums. I don't know who's in charge of art and what's going on there, probably @Stan` could point you somewhere. It's 1, all female. You haven't played the game yet? In vanilla only women are civilians. They excel at gathering food, but since you only need so much food you only need so much women; the vast majority of the pop is male, although some mods handle it differently.
  13. I don't really know if I'm all clear about the community mod. It's primarily to test out ~mechanics? Has there been relevant feedback? Is it widely used by the multiplayers? On the other hand the mod was also used for bug-fixes; ofc fixing bugs is good, but maybe we could consider distributing those separately. [Maybe not the prime thread for a general discussion about the mod, but since you were talking about it...]
  14. You can make more fields so there are less farmers per field.
  15. I hope you're not really personally affected by this. That said, I could very well do without it.
  16. Maybe those guys (or some spectators) can send you the replays of that day.
  17. Really? That seems pretty low. Granted, I race my AI enemies to town phase (that's when I start building my defenses & around the time I have to expect early attacks), I have usually 50 cs cav, healers & their tecs... That's for 200 pop? Still.
  18. If you look at the gathering rates you see that cs are good at chopping wood and mining minerals. Usually first thing I build a storehouse and research the wood tec; then I make ~10 women for wood, send some on the berries, switch to fields when they run low. Make another 10 women for wood, build barracks, make up to 20 cs also for wood, balance with fields as needed, depending on the hunt and berries available. Only women farm, usually I have 6 fields in p1, around 11 at peak; late game I take women from the fields to wood, as my frontline cs are not chopping anymore. I start mining in p2 and have dedicated teams of cs; my metal team usually follows my army to new mines when the old are depleted, my stone team usually goes for additional metal, maybe some more stone, maybe some wood, maybe some building... So roughly ~50 farmers, ~40 lumber-jacks/-jessies, ~40 miners. Going with what is available as resources. Disclaimer: I only play SP, the AI is much more predictable than humans; I don't have to think about early raids or original attack vectors, but it might still give you an idea.
  19. Welcome to the forums. It is generally good to include the logs when reporting an error: https://trac.wildfiregames.com/wiki/GameDataPaths Just zip the folder and attach it to your message.
  20. While I can't say anything about our SEO, I think you would have to hear about those other games, too, if you wanted to search for them. I think 0AD is fine as a name; it's short, poignant and has a meaning. Though I have suggested before to rename it to 0CE; alas, that hasn't caught on.
  21. @wowgetoffyourcellphone I thought about a fig leave, too, but it would probably be easier and less polys to "Ken-ify" him.
