I believe the crew is built-in; additional passengers would make the ship slower, due to increased weight. (Don't implement that!)

I make them and get their health upgrade; they mostly sit in their ministry and produce trickle, I try to group as much research heavy buildings around so they can pop over and earn their cost. When I'm done with research in the fortress they join my army as champs.

I always felt like ships were ~doubled in size after the maps were made; I would very much welcome a reduction in size. By hovering your cursor over their sword & shield icon you could see their stats?

AFAIK all diplomatic changes are announced via messages to all, so provided you didn't continue from a save in the meantime you can look it up in the chat. The player's enemies were defeated, I guess that's the point. Apart from that I once again propose a diplomacy matrix where the player can see all diplomacy settings of the other players.

Just was curious about your opinions. Yesterday I captured a CC and couldn't build spearmen and jav cav from it, hardly exotic units. Strictly speaking it might not be arbitrary, but when I capture from a random civ neighbor it does feel random if I then can produce the same units as in my OG buildings. "The former tenant didn't do it" doesn't really convince me.

Different? In p3 two elite units will hold it. (At least that was my experience in RC1, didn't play the final version much yet. Since I always had dedicated "tower guys" it wasn't too much of a change for me.)

I believe at least in RC1 the phase still played a role; e.g. I couldn't hold a tower with three elite units in p2 while in p3 two elite units were enough.

With decay there are no Gaia soldiers necessary for buildings to go to Gaia. I also don't see how extra kennels would help with the limit of dogs. While it's true that you can build above the limit if you lose/build/recapture I consider it more of a hypothetical for TGs; you'd probably get wrecked while playing around with it.

You can adjust the batch size with the mousewheel. Probably some arrow key too, you can see all hotkeys via the menu.

Deutsch, while you're nitpicking, and it wasn't invented in 1871. (Not a complete list.) Aren't they grouped as Hellenics? I haven't fully dived into the subject, but I believe Germanics fit better than Germans.

As I understand it units don't prefer houses but will attack anything in range, and if it's only houses they will attack those; and once they started with a task they want to finish it if they don't receive new orders. The exact reason why I play on turtle speed. I think queuing was a bad idea, just making an attack-move probably would've been better. With ctrl-groups and area-selections I usually have no problem getting all my units to do what I want. -

Did you leave the game and continued with a save? Then replays won't work, which I find disappointing.
