  1. I would refuse to play in your cubic hellscape as well. During regular gameplay I could capture towers and other buildings just fine.
  2. - I'm absolutely no fan of the change in the default behavior of units attacking buildings. - The tooltip doesn't change when you send batches of resources (to an ally); it used to ~count up, "...500...", "...1000..." ... Edit: I think it just looks different...
  3. I find it irritating that map eye candy/clutter (non selectable/harvestable) can obscure units; it won't show silhouettes either. Here it's Rhine Valley (Fall). Edit: I also find it irritating if zooming messes with the silhouettes.
  4. Ah ja. Changed it from OPENGL and the flickering immediately stopped.
  5. OS? Did it install? Are there logs?
  6. Just guessing until someone more knowledgeable comes along: did you look into the trickle mechanics? Don't know if you can set it to "100y every 1min" or something.
  7. You'd rather have an expensive technology than just build a few more houses? I must admit, I don't really understand the occupation with housing.
  8. It's only a few civs that have small houses. And as far as I'm aware a lot of players consider it to be economically beneficial.
  9. I still don't know what vulkan is, and who it's for. Immediately after starting this version, I noticed the screen is flickering intermittently.
  10. I don't know if someone had fat fingers when they assembled the color bars for the players, but this "yellow" bar doesn't look anything like the yellow in the palette or in-game. Don't know if this brown-ish for player 6 shows up in game, I changed it to teal...
  11. @Lion.Kanzen What? I have no idea what you want to tell me with preseason, cups and tournaments. Similarly, I don't know why we should have world cups only every 4 years, or why that would be continental cups. In case I didn't make myself clear with the tennis-like approach: there are no seasons, but every month the results from the previous 12 months are taken into account; so you have no point where the table is reset to zero, in January or July or whenever.
  12. I still like the idea of a more Tennis-like approach, meaning that the results from within a year count; I don't really see a reason for "seasons".
  13. I just use a floating field foundation. A destroyed field still works as a measurement since it leaves a mark on the ground for a while; unless you go for a really tight fit and want to use the overlay a field offers to the max.
  14. Are you sure you replied in the right thread? I can't see a post by @WhiteTreePaladin here...
  15. Maybe you can delay an AI for a moment, but overall I think it's pretty pointless.
  16. If they just wouldn't let out a death-cry and fall down so visibly...
  17. Sure, sure. When you just point your soldiers in the general direction of women you don't bear responsibility for their actions. I agree to the capturing and dismissing. Maybe it's good for the fertility of the fields, still seems a bit cruel to just kill my workers late game when I don't need them anymore.
  18. AFAIK shrubs were made to be built over. I thought it was limited to them but not any specific maps.
