  1. I don't know if they ever had them. The idea is to make the civs different. The other Hellenic factions have them as mercenaries, but Sparta is relying on their famous spearmen. ^^
  2. Can we have the indicator back that a ship is being repaired? There was a hammer symbol together with how many people worked on it. With ships being dumb and coastlines being difficult it didn't always work, so I'd prefer if I could see at first glance if works. Edit: It shows when the ship is empty; can we have that it shows regardless?
  3. Yesterday the game wouldn't even let me build a storehouse in such a spot, because it "wasn't my own terrain". Anyway, if you can't deny a CC in such a spot your days are numbered anyway.

  9. I always fill the Han's fields. I think I use less women than with other civs, but I'm not sure how many paddies. The last farm upgrade doesn't work for Han, maybe that is part of your problem. The community mod fixes that. It's supposed to be hotfixing issues, but also addresses urgent balancing issues and whatnot - I honestly lost track, except that it fixes the Han farming technology. It's available through the in-game mod selection.

  13. My guess would be that you have (changed to) a Linux distro which takes some time to upgrade the packages. If so maybe try Otherwise let us know your OS, and maybe how you tried to upgrade so far. hth
  14. For me that killed a conversation the other day. Just thought "effit!" and didn't reply to the post that triggered my search. It's been another month and no change...
  15. For what it's worth, the wikipedia describes them as infantry, including their role on the battlefield and other duties, while citing sources like Thucydides. Screenshots of Chinese books don't help me a bit, so I can't really judge how credible their claims are.

  17. Is it intended that Mauryan worker eles can build anything but palaces and edict pillars?
  18. Not in favor. First it would be the player's responsibility to not build in a disadvantageous position. There's also some maps (Ngorongoro) where the starting positions would be outside such a hypothetical radius and it would be difficult to remedy. And sometimes I want to build a CC right next to the map border (for example when it's the only possible position for a forward base). ??? Everything that's not explored outside the view from the CC stays unexplored. And you want to explore the darkness?
