  1. Arminius actor draft. I'll need to use existing assets for these guys for now.
  2. Audio files default to a set of settings, which include those 2.
  3. Now, I guess the question is if I want to take the time and make all these hero actors or not for the DE A24 release. It's already quite late, and no one's really assisting me on making props (helmets, shields) and such. lol
  4. Heroes? Need at least 3, up to 5. Ariovistus Leader of the Suebi and other allied Germanic peoples in the second quarter of the 1st century BC. He and his followers took part in a war in Gaul, assisting the Arverni and Sequani in defeating their rivals, the Aedui. They then settled in large numbers into conquered Gallic territory, in the Alsace region. They were defeated, however, in the Battle of Vosges and driven back over the Rhine in 58 BC by Julius Caesar. https://www.wikiwand.com/en/Ariovistus Maroboduus King of the Marcomanni, who were Germanic Suebian people. He spent part of his youth in Rome, and returning, found his people under pressure from invasions by the Roman empire between the Rhine and Elbe. He led them into the forests of Bohemia, adjacent to the Quadi who already lived nearby, and established a large alliance. https://www.wikiwand.com/en/Maroboduus Arminius Was a Roman officer and later chieftain of the Germanic Cherusci tribe who is best known for commanding an alliance of Germanic tribes at the Battle of the Teutoburg Forest in 9 AD, in which three Roman legions under the command of general Publius Quinctilius Varus were destroyed. His victory at Teutoburg Forest would precipitate the Roman Empire's permanent strategic withdrawal from Magna Germania. https://www.wikiwand.com/en/Arminius Thinking putting him into the Sueabian mercenary camp, since he wasn't technically a Suebian. Who else?
  5. Trac Error TracError: Unable to check for upgrade of trac.db.api.DatabaseManager: TimeoutError: Unable to get database connection within 0 seconds. (OperationalError: could not connect to server: Connection refused Is the server running on host "localhost" (::1) and accepting TCP/IP connections on port 5432? could not connect to server: Connection refused Is the server running on host "localhost" (127.0.0.1) and accepting TCP/IP connections on port 5432? )
  6. I tried removing dropsite from CC for a while in DE, but I found myself annoyed that I couldn't use it as such. I might try it again and see.
  7. I don't know how to fix that one. Perhaps someone else has some insight. Probably a variant issue. Yeah, I wasn't aware that garrison effect was still there. Intended to be removed.
  8. Unfortunately, I cannot reproduce. I downloaded the ZIP from github intact. delenda_est-master.zip 3.7 gb I can open the zip and navigate the folders with no problem. I am sorry. It's possible that your connections are severing or timing out because the download is so large. IMHO, it's super easy to use Github Desktop or the comparable Linux app to download the mod. That way, after the initial download of 3+ gigs, any subsequent pulls will be very small and very quick. And if your connection times out, you can resume the git update where you left off. That's my best advice for now, as I really can't duplicate your issue. :/
  9. This is not a Delenda Est problem as that zip is automatically generated by Github. I don't make that zip, Github does. The server zips it together, JustusAvramenko does not.
  10. Do we want four free starting towers (weak sentry towers) like in Age of Mythology or no starting towers like in AOE2?
  11. This was the fix. Done and committed.
  12. This works if I edit territory_border.png and make it completely translucent. The AI now builds things again. But now how do I get rid of the territory line on the minimap?
  13. Indeed. AI will need updates if ever nomadic civs are implemented as well (as I imagine nomadic civs wouldn't use territory by definition). I do really like your solution for the mod though. Thank you.
  14. Let me use my imagination a bit, and suggest this: Perhaps you must first build a Settlement structure to found a new village. In this first level, this expansion can't train any citizens, you need colonists to come and build stuff there first. You then later, perhaps after a time limit or perhaps after some other prerequisite, you can use the Upgrade feature to upgrade this Settlement to a full fledged Civic Center. Now you can train units there and possibly now other major buildings like barracks and Fortresses.
  15. Lol k, thanks for the bug reports guys. Will be fixed today, if it isn't already fixed. The repo is constantly in flux. I update it every day (many times multiple times per day), so I honestly suggest if you want to keep up with Delenda Est changes to go ahead and install Github Desktop. It's a nice UI for pulling changes from the repo without having to download the entire zip every time you want to update.
  16. Use this (it'll work with A24) https://github.com/JustusAvramenko/delenda_est A23 DE will not work on A24 base game.
  17. I am not sure if I can do anything about the AI unless a programmer helps out.
  18. MOD IS NOW PLAYABLE. COMPATIBLE WITH ALPHA 24. https://github.com/JustusAvramenko/0-A.D.-Classic-Mode Still a work in progress. Please report bugs and suggest balancing and gameplay ideas. Note: Naval and Unit progression techs (Basic->Advanced->Elite) not yet implemented.
