  1. Someone can add this one to the social media accounts. Just mention that 0 A.D. Alpha 26 has a dozen mods for it already and more on the way.
  2. Perhaps it could just be achieved with 2 different mechanics. The Roman 4th rank happens with xp, while the Spartan 4th rank happens with the 'upgrade' feature.
  3. It's supposed to be unique to the Romans. Every civ has officers. Centurions, however, are famous.

  5. I can make a patch for this^ Basically a "4th rank" for Roman swordsmen: Centurion who rank up with xp. Or... they can be Upgrade Promotions available for Elite swordsmen, like upgrading a sentry tower to a defense tower. Just a limited number available. What sounds more interesting?
  6. Agreed. More armor or more health, functionally the same. Health is easier to intuit for the player, while armor is more "realistic." Also, Chariots should have a trample aura. Both should be able to fire while moving, the Archer Cav after a tech, while Chariot has it from the beginning.
  7. I'm thinking 3-5 spears sticking up into frame at an angle.
  8. I honestly think there can be a standardized "unique technology" scheme. Something like: Forge: 2 techs Fortress: 2 techs Civic Center: 2 techs All other structures: up to 1 tech if justified. I would also like to see Champions moved back to the Fortress and all Heroes sent to the Civic Center (with a couple exceptions, like the Persians, Athenians, and Spartans).
  9. I know her actor is there, I am talking about improving her look.
  10. Himiko (hero) and a male consort, potentially the basis for another hero.

  12. "Lead Sling Bullets" would be a good one, actually. Historically accurate as well. For sling bullets, it goes: Stone -> Clay -> Lead
  13. This is nice, but you have to make the portraits either 128x128 pixels or 256x256.
  14. Thank you @AIEND for the translated PDF of that book. Here are the relevant images I put together:
  15. Seems like they have longer, heavier shields for Advanced and Elite soldiers, painted and lacquered, while Basic soldiers would have small rectangular unfinished wood and wicker shields.
