  1. Thanks for the advice, well the reference itself had a lot of colors : About the feathers, that is just a middle trail with lines coming out, they are thinner than the big red thing, so they look more detailed. If you look at the texture in the zip they are not realy more detailed. Feathers are six flat polys About the coloration, well that's just gimp lasso, I guess I could improve it.
  2. I did it on your input. I also removed that orange thing on the first. Just too lazy to post another screenshot. Officer Helmet2.7z
  3. Thanks =D You are lucky I'm not using my 3monitors PC otherwise you'd get 3840x1024 screens X) Proceeding to next helmet. http://img837.imageshack.us/img837/7427/kolorowyp.jpg Should I keep the colors ?
  4. Thrac Cap (Everything is in the zip ) Thrac Cap.7z
  5. Well I did the baking with and without triangulating the mesh, to test my tutorial. That made a slight difference on the Texture, but none on the bump. These textures are the one made from triangulation.
  6. It's the triangulated bump... That didn't change anything.
  7. The blender generated are in the zip. But they look weird
  8. Okay I admit it wasn't that hard when you know how to it...
  9. Hmm... That's a reakky stupid reason... I just thought my helmet sucked... So you would as always pick up you magic wand and fix it... Anyway, I'll finish it. About the video haven't you heard of avidemux ? It's pretty easy to use and transforms a 10GB video into something like 200Mo
  10. If you think about it, I think all factions in real life were balanced. I mean if they weren't the world would be roman.
  11. Sometimes I have a hard time following you my friend
  12. Here is the helmet. Since you don't show how you finish with the texture on the videos, I assumed you just have to tweak the textures on gimp, that's why I gave you all my textures. Agema.7z Agema Blend.7z
  13. Well thing is it would break historic accuracy in favor of balance, which I don't think is the aim of the project. Unless you can prove that every civ had this kind of units. Moreover, that would add pressure onto the art team, that you may not know but is really reduced, and has a lot of tasks to do already ;(
  14. I think it's because it's a non commercial project.
  15. Mmmh these o #2292 "Thracian Cap" helmet - Model + Texture. Ref: 1 o #2293 "Agema" helmet - Model + Texture. Ref: 1 o #2289 "Cataphract" helmet - Model + Texture. Ref: 1 (could use a head mesh instead of helmet prop) Moreover for some reason there are Five helmets in the blender file. Minus Sighvatr Easter Egg, and the cataphract isn't one of them. That means, some helmets are not in the list (Kettle Hat, and one more) I started to do the agema.
  16. Started texturing the Agema helmet. Here is Step 1 What do you think ?
  17. Reference links for Seleucids Helmets are dead... Moreover, the iberian barracks has a new design of Lordgood, If you forgot... Found a huge set of helmets reference here http://www.moddb.com/mods/rome-at-war2/images/rome-at-war2-preview1#imagebox
  18. Nice work A few suggestions : - Replace that big enable thing by check boxes. - Could you make the descriptions on more lines ? Better, use the box that shows enabled mods instead. The checked thing will be enough for players. - Why is millenium AD not linked to its github repository ? - When you will have them maybe we could replace the names (e.g. bronze_mod by an icon, or by Bronze Age) A little question. Can I be able to have all the mods at once ? Like making the Aristeian fight the vikings and the romans ?
