0 A.D. Trac Mod List Introducing a new way to get more visibilty for your mods, you can now get featured on Trac. The idea is that modders- if interested- add their own mod to the page on Trac and we get a nice list together. Gonna tickle some modders to possibly spark some interest @nani@Langbart@azayrahmad@wowgetoffyourcellphone@Lopess@andy5995@Lion.Kanzen@maroder@LetswaveaBook@Stan`@wackyserious@asterix (unpinged people welcome too ofc)5 points

Merely talked about it. See #6531. @wraitii might be the only one that can fix it for now. Fixed. r27005 Fixed: r27006 That would be @wowgetoffyourcellphone This one [Diffusion] rP26469 (wildfiregames.com) Reduced max range for all crossbow units. Does the macedonian crossbowman need a hotfix?2 points

"Allied View" is a game option that's been added to vanilla 0ad a26 (upcoming release). When the option is enabled, allies will basically have "cartography mode" on at the start of the game.2 points

Def the most common one for people who don't use the chat function to answer "why are you flaring?" This is also usually quickly followed by a resignation and chat complaints asking why you didn't help1 point

I suggest to add another option for team games: "auto-share" It means that every team has team resources, players dont have their own resources anymore if they are in a team. If a player gets a resource, this will be added to the team resources. If a player spends a resource, it needs to taken from the team resources, as the player doesn't have his own resources anymore. Example: 4v4 with low resources (300). So each team starts with 1200 resources of each kind. Some players might be quicker and queue up a huge batch immediately so there will be less resources for the others than usual, but this is just how it works. Could be fun. The fun would be that you dont need to send resources to teammates and you dont need to ask them for resources. Just spend and gather resources, and maybe leave some of the resources for your teammates ; ) First of all this would be problematic with diplomacy mode, so I suggest to first of all make the options incompatible (the game is either diplomacy or auto-share or none of them.) It could be also realized by a mod in order to be realized more early, but mods are very problematic for multiplayer if they change the gameplay (which leads to incompability with the main game)1 point

As you can see on your screenshot you're in select mode, which freezes commands. You might need dbgview to see the output. For such a small mod it's fast though.1 point

First you might want to preload the mod mod and public mod as well, using the -mod= switch, as your mod might depend on them. Then the size says 1kb, so I have my doubt it actually worked at all. Also the message another process using the file already might mean the creation is still ongoing. Not seeing any output to the terminal suggest the actual worker thread detached somehow and pyrogenesis returned early? Not using Windows, so can only say that looks suspicious. Just renaming a .zip to .pyromod also works.1 point

I like the new update. I have recently started playing the Age of Mythology game and I love it so far. I found this website mistakenly because I want to know does edubirdie work for college student because writing an essay assignment is a big headache for me and that is why I prefer to take help from online essay writers. When I was searching for it online, I found the Age of Mythology game and I like the advertising of that game. So, I started playing it and I fall in love with this game.1 point

I was playing with some friends, and we got a bit tired of needing to build a market to get a upgrade and then seeing what my other teamates see. So i tought: "maybe theres a mod that already have that tech (cartography) researched from the start. Maybe you guys can help me out. Sorry for my bad english.1 point

BTW also a very nice workaround is using https://github.com/0ad-matters/CartographyMode --- you probably maybe now it. A 0 A.D. mod; adds an "ally map" option to the game set-up menu, which allows allies to share vision at game start.1 point

Trac can be edited by anyone with an account feel free to fix it thanks.1 point

very nice. elephants are not countered by swords though, quite the contrary: ranged damage is best against them.1 point

Were you ever able to save a game? Or is the \saves folder empty? If not, try to delete any saves as @Stan` suggested above. If there's a corrupt save, the game will crash on trying to load and trying to save.1 point

I think that cavalry crossbowmen were an oddity in the Han army and better be removed. Maybe ask our historians about that.1 point

Hey, it seems you are trying to load a saved game is this correct ? If this is an Alpha 24 or an Alpha 23 Saved game, it will not work. You might want to delete everything in this folder, as they might be corrupted. C:\Users\{You}\Documents\My Games\0ad\saves1 point

Hey @Dove of Arc It seems you uploaded the wrong files. You should upload the files present in the following folder: %localappdata%\0ad\logs What is the map you are trying to load ?1 point

Good catch. The reason is that technologies are (still) in JSON and not retrieved the same manner as e.g. units. In the structure tree the default values are used, whereas in the selection panel there is a call to the simulation what the technology _actually_ costs (including any modifications). Unfortunately I don't have a quick solution. (Only a long-term one.)1 point

366 MiB free seems very little; what's eating your RAM? Can you zip & upload your logs folder? Then we could look for errors. https://trac.wildfiregames.com/wiki/GameDataPaths1 point

I a putting it here, because new version of HC is available to download today. Overhaul of Kokiri, Gohma, and the Fairy factions. Installation: - Install the Alpha 25b version of 0AD, which can be downloaded here: Play0ad.com - Unpack hyrule-conquest.zip into C:\Users\Username\Documents\my games\0ad\mods - Start up 0AD and go to Settings > Mod Selection - Select Hyrule Conquest, Enable, Save Configuration, then Start Mods New Features: - Replaced Kokiri Mudmen units with Korok units. - Gohma roster has been overhauled with new Heroes and units. - Fairies of Tarm roster has been overhauled with new Heroes and units. - Two new 4 player maps have been added (Tarm Ruins and Hyrule Field) - Zora Dominion and Labrynna now have proper AI FOR THOSE WITH PERFORMANCE ISSUES: - Hyrule Conquest aims to have the best looking models possible, however 0AD is currently not optimized for that goal. As such several things can be done to help those with less powerful PCs. - It is highly recommended that you install the Low Poly Patch if you have frame rate issues. - Disabling shadows in the graphics menu also has a significant impact on performance https://www.moddb.com/mods/hyrule-conquest/downloads/hyrule-conquest-013 and Low Poly Patch Low Poly Patch for the 0.13 version of Hyrule Conquest. Low Poly Patch for the 0.13 version of Hyrule Conquest. Adds low poly versions of new models added in 0.13, such as the new Korok, Gohma, and Fairy units. Installation - Place HyruleLowPoly.zip into C:\Users\Username\Documents\my games\0ad\mods - Do no paste it over your Hyrule folder, this is technically a separate mod - Start up 0AD and go to Settings > Mod Selection - Select Hyrule Conquest (Low Poly), Enable, Save Configuration, then Start Mods https://www.moddb.com/mods/hyrule-conquest/downloads/low-poly-patch-for-0131 point

I was thinking further into the idea of an Age of Mythology mod for 0 A.D. Such a mod would entail quite a bit of work, obviously, in the form of Myth Unit models, animations, and scripting God Powers. "Favor" as a resource would be pretty simple to implement (nearly identical to Delenda Est's "Glory" resource), and many of the regular human and hero units can be reskins of units already in the game. Choosing "Minor Gods" already has a proof of concept in Delenda Est's "Hero Selection" feature. All of that is true. But I was thinking further into the mythological aspect after playing the latest Hyrule Conquest release and hit upon having two types of civs in such mod: Human and Magical. Human civs are obvious, but the Magical civs would 100% be mythologically based. Amazons Centaurs Draugar Djin Dryads at al. Just brainstorming here.1 point

We already have a feature where you can request attack against a player. I think this should also be the same. When you click on flare, multiple standard standrd command will pop up as mentioned by @Lion.Kanzen. The player will select the command. If don't select any of these and use flare on map, then the popup will close and flare will act as normal present flare, you can mentione the reason in comment. Attaching wireframe for the same. @Stan` Do you think this a small task or big task?1 point

we certainly need 3-5 basic commands for the flare. Help defense, help attack, help here, "look" and "expand here" or "take this place". And implement the taunts.1 point

No matter how kind you are, German kids are always kinder. ; ) Suebian Germans of Delenda EST Mod are strong, like Celts in A231 point

One day you thought you'd booked some gospel musicians, but instead a group of Carthaginian spearmen turned up in full armour. "And who the hell are you guys?!!!" you exclaimed. Their leader just looked up and said: "The Sacred Band!"1 point

A23? Now there is: SharedLOSautoresearched.zip @Stan`, feel free to upload it to mod.io; I won't. Also, making it a game-setting would be nice, but also more complicated to implement. @nani, off-topic yet somewhat related, it would also be nice if phase advance notifications are communicated to all players, instead of only to allies (and observers) and if each player's current phase would be displayed in the diplomacy window.1 point

I guess it could be a gamesetup option for the tech to be autoresearched @nani?1 point

From my point of view, enable the reveal map in the gamesetup takes out a part of the expirence of RTS games (like exploring, trying to find the resources you will need for later, etc), but thanks for the help!1 point
