Just as a quick update for everyone: a lot of the team is on holidays / not super available for the past few/next few days, so releasing won't be as timely as we'd hoped, but we're still going to get there soon, no worries.4 points

Well it's in the link https://trac.wildfiregames.com/wiki/Phabricator Other than that arm yourself with patience. Else you can just generate diff using svn diff and git diff and upload them manually.2 points

Hello guys, again i want to give some feedback to this version. I've done this a few days earlier, but no one has noticed this. And i think, the problems i've told you are too serious. To make it easier for me i write in german, because my english is still not good enough.

Typeface is this https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Typeface You mean font types or font in short. @vladislavbelov added some support for it in https://code.wildfiregames.com/D4108. For now is just no supported in the engine.1 point

The thing is that Greek mercenaries were a common thing. Greeks hired them, as did Persians. Obviously you could add other notable mercenary leaders that were not Greek; I only mention Greeks because Hellenic studies is kind of my thing. That said, heroes do not require factions to exist. Xenophon is an example of this.1 point

Pyrrhus would also be a great addition by far. Honestly I'm not sure how much this sort of a option would be enjoyed as a staple to the game, but I could definitely see it introduced either as a mod or an alternate game mode.1 point

The way formations work currently is that units are assigned an offset to the 'formation controller', an invisible, large entity (paths like a ram/elephant). Then they try, at all time, to go to that offset. The 'formation controller' itself is moving normally. This is why turning looks weird: suddenly the formation controller rotates and the offsets change a lot, and it's very un-natural. Fixing this efficiently would require a rethinking of the system, so it's not that trivial.1 point

It depends what you want to do, the game is similar to other RTS in that case. You hold shift then start collecting berries then click of wood, then they will go for wood after finish first task. Same happen with buildings. I think that whenever I play I do that .1 point

Q&D translation: "Start a new game, svn 25810, no mods, cache emptied. Gulf of Bottnia, Giant, 8 players, all AI, no teams. During the game, following issues arise: 1. Some players, especially Gauls, build masses of ships (Gauls up to 50) 2. Some players build masses of siege rams (up to 20) 3. Kush, Cart & Ptols get nearly exterminated at the beginning, but none of the other players seem willing or able to finish them. The Romans get their traders killed one after the other, because they keep passing the leftover Kush CC. 4. After roughly half the game there's no serious attacks anymore, although some players have masses of units (Romans alone ~95 cav). 5. Finally the game crashes: The replays: 0037: no metadata.json available, probably bcs of crash 0038: no metadata.json available, game crashed immediately without starting giving following error message: 0039: Same saved game, this time without crash Saved games, same game, saved & loaded again and again: ... Summary: - too many ships being built - too many siege rams - illogical behavior (see 3.) - buildings get attacked but not defended - plethora of units available, but no attacks happen - 'dancing ships' Maybe someone has time to look at the replays/saves and explain to me what goes wrong here. This way the game's no fun anymore. Especially since this kinda stuff also happens with other maps, regardless if mods are enabled or not. Much regards from Germany, Mr.lie" hth1 point

This is incredibly embarrassing. After weeks of trying to resolve the issue, I posted this topic, and we one more time went through all of our possible solutions. We started with disabling the TLS option. Him: "I've disabled it, but it's not an in-game option." Me: "... What? No. It is an in-game option. Go to Settings --> Options --> Lobby, and disable TLS encryption" Him: "... Oh... I haven't tried that yet. I only disabled it in Windows' options." Me: " " Apologies everyone. He can now connect. All is well. We've been trying to play this game together for 4 weeks. Finally, it's fixed.1 point

Hey everyone. My friend cannot connect to the lobby, receiving the familiar "The server's certificate could not be verified or the TLS handshake did not complete successfully" error. We have tried disabling TLS in the in-game options, and this doesn't work (same error). We have turned off all his firewalls. We have downloaded and installed the Alpha 25 (we tried on the previous version first). We have tried on two different internet connections (to check if it was some error from the router or internet provider). We have made sure that there aren't any internet-controlling softwares running in the background (like VPNs). He is on Windows 10. He can easily connect to Steam to play Age of Empires and other games - it's only 0AD that we experience any problems. We don't know what else to do to resolve this problem. May we have missed some weird internet-controlling program? Does anyone have any ideas? It would be greatly appreciated. Will update this thread if we work out a resolution. Looking forward to hearing any suggestions. Thanks :---)0 points
