How would that work exactly?

You have never seen a troll attack? to annoy good you can organize and vote the mods you want and ignore and punish the important ones.

It can be done if a mob gets annoyed by a change in the game and to troll us they vote for some low quality mod or downvote for one regardless of quality, just for the sense of trolling.

You can organize on Discord and make raids.

There must always be a competent authority to authorize or approve a vote. It's mostly the kind of society and internet culture we have.

Internet is a battlefield for all kinds of fights even the most superfluous.

is similar to this.

The voters would be players. I'm talking about the in-game mod downloader. Will 4Chan download thousands of copies of the game in order to troll the image voting?

An image can be packaged into the mod as well, no need to fetch it from somewhere else. If the mod is signed so is a bundled image. This covers the mod selector.

So this leaves what to do about a mod.io browser, relying on mod.io having the necessary tools and report mechanisms sounds good enough for now.

But we were talking about modio not the page where you are enabling mods

Pretty sure wow didn't mean to just touch the mod.io browser and leave the more problematic mod-selector as is.

As for the problem raised of figuring out what exists such a browser will be a sub-optimal choice anyway, it won't ever have more info than https://www.moddb.com/games/0-ad/mods and only covers a minor part of the mods available.

And here we go, in the third round of suggestions.

- Having a descriptive section of the game's soundtrack, with a mini bio of the people involved, graphics, and the possibility of downloading mp3 files;
- Implement day and night shift changes inside a match;
- Develop a game mode in which the player does not compete with other civilizations, but against nature itself. Wild animals, fire, food shortages, wood shortages. Hummmm... how feasible is it to implement rain/storms in Pyrogenesis?

There are forum topics about this, just search a bit deeper. If you want to extract the mp3 files, find the installation directory, then find binaries/data/mods/public/audio

May  I ask why, there are night maps already.

Welcome to Jebel Barca, where you are sacked by Gaia war elephants and random champion swordsman spawning from nowhere

Anatolian plains. No wood. Even better: New RMS Test, there is nothing on that map and it's up to you to figure out how to make something from nothing.

ideas for maps:

  • select player spawn type for mainland and other random maps if applicable. (random group, line, stronghold)
  • add berries to gulf of Bothnia - frozen lake.
  • increase minimum spacing between plateaus and forests in mainland
  • add new random map or improve existing random map to compete with mainland for multiplayer.
    • In conjunction with @wowgetoffyourcellphone's naval rework, it would be good to add a balanced water/land random map.
  • Thanks 1

It would be necessary to investigate the types of maps in other strategy games that are popular, Arabia in AoE II comes to mind.

We don't have.

Highland.

yeah I think the two seas skirmish map (with the mountain passes) would be good if made into a random map:

mainland style except for the area taken by the two bodies of water, then instead of passes, just make the middle a little mountainous with various elevations and a couple cliffs.

That being said, I have no idea how random map scripts work.
