Overall I enjoyed my first game in A26, pretty smooth. However... There's still this abhorrent glitch where some renegade border mark can go airborne. I reported it a few versions back, nobody seemed to care... I liked the golden laurels better, but oh well. I still think it's hideous how the numbers are cut off in the stats. I intentionally posted the whole screen shot to illustrate how much space there is to the side and the bottom. No chance to make the columns or rows flexible? And I still find it ridiculous to not round the numbers. Do we really need positions after the decimal point? And if so, do we really need more than one or two? The number for my used wood is cut off on two sides. Why chose a format to present numbers where said numbers aren't presented properly?

Yeah, no. I hereby petition rice to count as vegetarian! Is there any reasoning why it can't be build in either? Balance? Very nice that aggressive healers don't flee anymore! Thx again @Freagarach

@Freagarach Yes, I was referring to those towers. I saw it in the structure tree, unfortunately I don't know the corresponding files.

The translation seems fine to me. I guess it's just that German words are longer on average. Since space isn't that critical in that corner, allowing the box to have a line or two more seems like the best solution for me. But I don't know if we have someone working on UI. Since cut-off sentences are obviously not ideal, maybe alternatively the German translation could be shortened to fit in the box.

@maroderBut horsies don't have the 'worker' class. Right. It took me a bit to figure out the Minister has 2 pop count. (I just subtracted 1 from my pop, that's why I thought i had 10 idles...)

Imho it definitely should get a space. (I have no idea what the Great Tower is.) So the 'idle workers' thingy now has a number; but it shows '9' while i have ten citizens not doing anything. Don't horsies count?

@Stan` ok. The 'ta' in 'Shao ta' should also get a capital letter, like the 'Ta' in 'Fangyu Ta'. And 'Laozi Gate' instead of 'LaoziGate'?

Do we have a string freeze? Didn't see anything about it. Anyway: Seems like 'hull' is the only non-capitalized word in techs; for consistency's sake I think it should be changed.

@runebar I learned a lot by going through the Structure Tree (accessible from the title menu or by clicking on the civ emblem top/center in game). You don't get an overview but you can go through each civ separately. If you hit 'Development' at the top of the page, you can find a lot of helpful stuff, like a basic strategy guide. Some youtubers have guides on booming, build orders etc. @Yekaterina also has such a document out there. And ofc I learned a lot by playing. 'Do I need the woodcutting (or other eco) upgrades?' Answer in general: yes.

Maybe it's more the resistances / your troop composition. I believe blades work pretty well against siege, so you could try having sword units (inf/cav) and make them target the siege weapons. In dire need, e.g. rams at your CC, even females with their daggers can do the trick.

Just saw a pretty positive review of Fallen Earth Classic by Josh Strife Hayes. Slightly flawed free to play post-apocalypse MMO, no cash shop. Some say it's better than Fallout 76, so you might want to check it out at the outlet of your choice.

I didn't look at them yet, but the first thing you probably want to do is to check that 0AD is using your dedicated GPU. @essa Did you find the files mentioned in the error message? Maybe this is the path: c:\Users\abdi\AppData\Local\0ad\logs\ If you know how, pack (all) the files in \logs\ in a zip file. When you reply here, you see 'choose files...' at the bottom of the editor; click it and select the zip file or (all) the individual files in that folder, that will attach/upload those files.

READ your error message! Attach the crashlog.txt and crashlog.dmp files. My standard guesses: 1. Your antivir doesn't allow 0AD to access the paths/files; 2. You're on a laptop which instead of the dedicated GPU uses the integrated GPU which can't handle the game. HTH

hmmm... Oh dear. To pickup just the 'male' aspect: AFAIK the US military opened up for women when the average male cannon fodder was just too dumb to be of any use in the field.

@LetswaveaBook I'm not up to date with most things and I don't know anything about that recruitment engine. But if it was fed with data where 99% of people in leading positions were male and it would result in females not being considered for leading positions just because of their gender - not their capabilities - I guess one could call it misogynistic.

Thinking (and talking) like that won't get you the lucrative contracts.

Of course AIs are not capable of everything; you also need to add a blockchain, or even better, five blockchains.
