One thing about your visual comparisons: the units are deliberately over-sized, I think three or four times of what they "realistically" should be. I guess opinions differ on how "gentle" that pink looks. ;p

Did you delete your frankenfile? I've tried to merge replay-files and had to delete my frankenfile then...

In a way you can pay resources to secure your towers: by garrisoning troops in them, that prevents decay.

I'm not sure if "F" (follow) would get you there. But if you select them via a key or an icon double-hitting will get you there. I use the "Pause" key on my keyboard for that.

I can't see how you come to this conclusion. I usually scout ~100% of a map, with reduced vision it would mean more micro and taking longer. Example Deep Forest: when I sent two cavs riding along enemies' borders, they'll eventually meet (except the ~180m gap) and coming back through the middle cover the whole area; with 24m (combined) less vision range I'll have to send one horse on an additional trip up AND down the map to achieve the same.

Too much handicraft at poor lightning? But I agree, their vision should be the same as the inf's.

I've been told it's possible to merge them manually ("hm hm lines..."), but no one was willing or able to answer my follow-up questions. I didn't see a script, so please see if you can come up with something. Naive me would expect something more automatic/user friendly... But what do I know.

Rethinking bribing & counterintelligence feature
Gurken Khan replied to Darkcity's topic in General Discussion
I would absolutely be against removing enemies' health bars. To clarify: ofc I think traders would be first in line to be susceptible to bribery. I also like the idea of being the higher bidder for a merc, thus taking them over. Not by wolololo. Ideally they'd have a stealth countdown (1 min?), so they can do some actual scouting and withdraw. -

Right. There's no historical precedence of traders being susceptible to bribery. -
I thought I didn't need to spell it out: when I have to chop my way through an enemy's protective lines of trees I wouldn't want my soldiers to have to go back to my territory.

If this were to be implemented I'd be in favor of units being able to ditch resources they are carrying...

I think so too. I don't think it's ideal that you can't see what you're doing/what effect it has. Probably in most cases you have some fighting around your siege so you'll see the castle's health go down. Maybe I should check whether women still can't see the core of a Theatron when they're building it...

It would take considerably less time than writing an essay. Plus it would give you the points you earned. And maybe some feeling of satisfaction. Just sayin'.

Making mauryas's vishkanya aura based unit

"How not to be seen." I would imagine a reworked Visha Kanya not to carry around a shrubbery / wear a ghillie suit. But maybe... -
Making mauryas's vishkanya aura based unit
Gurken Khan replied to Darkcity's topic in Gameplay Discussion
Another Visha Kanya discussion. We still have two different units with that name and neither fits their historical description. I like @Darkcity's idea of an anti-healer unit; maybe we should use the melee variant for that. It could have a general poison aura and 5x against heroes and champions. Since we didn't get the camouflage the last seven years, I'm not too optimistic we'll get it within the next seven. Here's @Yekaterina's previous Visha Kanya thread:
