  1. Are you trying to use it with the conversion mod? If yes, that likely fails since that mod contains only WIP code.
  2. The warnings you get can only come from AristeiaP (since Egyptian priest doesn't even exist in the main branch) Did you edit your mod.json to make sure the game sees your AristeiaP as a different mod?
  3. You noticed that the Myce walls are slightly curved (so the visible garrisonpoints are slightly different)? Other than that I see no objections to the pull request. (other than that I had some Mycenae work that I just sent yesterday to LordGood, but that has nothing to do with your pull request)

  5. What I noticed is that a Slinger Rush is extremely effective. By quickly upgrading the Phase 1 stone gather tech and much units on stone you can get a slinger army out quite quick. Now that is not necessarily a problem (since you can do the same with other units) but against Auron2401 I managed with a group of ~30 slingers to wreck his economy completely (while he had about ~70 skirmish inf + ~20 swordsmen though I had the surprise on my side) and even get a group of slingers out of the battle before my army was destroyed. Auron, I'm still waiting for your moviecapture to prove it
  6. Doublecheck what mods you have loaded. It does save it in the folder of the lowest mod (in the activated mods list)
  7. Whatever you want to move, always select the tool. If you placed an actor file, make sure you hold down the Alt-button, nothing difficult at all, Brian. Player assignments do not matter at all, any player is movable, gaia included. If you did setup a actor file but want to have an entity, create a simulation template. For that make sure you read my tutorial I once wrote: http://trac.wildfiregames.com/wiki/CreatingNewUnits (not sure if it is entirely up-to-date but it explains the most important things.

  9. The north/north east was indeed the designed dock 'station' but I should maybe make the south east available too.
  10. Better, yes! I think though that you need to change your 3D effect. Because of the shadow to the left it looks too short when you hover over it: I don't mind the font not looking really Asian. That font style has been introduced long ago in the moddb page and it would be nice to integrate it into the mod itself too. (besides, it looks good after all)
  11. I suppose a lot of people had somehow access to legal copies. AOE2 had a few redistributions with gold editions (I bought one of these). And if anything I think people would pirate the HD version since it is ridiculous to ask 20 bucks for something that userpatches also brought (with the exception of some retexturing en steam support).
  12. I have no problem with wood in general but these particular wood buttons. We have the time. No need to hurry The blue porcelain didn't really match the style of the rest of the UI.
  13. Hehe, I also thought of changing the colors of the buttons Unfortunately I do not really like the wood patterns you used in your buttons. Also it seems that the buttons in the main menu do not have the correct length (visible when you hover over them) Lastly I would like to preserve the original font in the RotE symbol ( ) So instead of the calligraphy font the font that is also used in ModDB page such as http://media.moddb.com/cache/images/downloads/1/46/45654/thumb_620x2000/rotepreviewimage.1.jpg (it's the same font that 0 A.D. uses but with different effects)
  14. Unfortunately your suggestion makes crossbowman hard to distinguish from normal archer (while equal colored melee and ranged units are easily distinguishable from each other because of the shields and a completely different weapon) It looks fine in-game actually.
  15. I see you miss a material tag (which defines if you use normal map, spec map, AO or player color) Edit: that actually shouldn't make a difference as they would fallback to a default material.

  17. I discovered an old map of mine and figured I could release it as well For the interested: this map was based of real world heightmaps. I created it since I discovered that there were barely snow maps present and I wanted to get acknowledged with the snow biomes (especially the polar one) Install it like any other mod. map_Northern_Island (2).zip map_Northern_Island_SVN.zip

  19. Currently most people use Blender with the built-in Collada exporter (also for animations).
