  1. For the record that's the way you post errors This one is pretty explicit. The other one usually happens as a side effect of something else. Glad you figured it out
  2. Can you please update the pictures of wiki:Manual_Buildings ? I created wiki:Manual_SpecialBuildings wiki:Translation_DE/Manual_SpecialBuildings
  3. For Atlas errors, you should contact @vladislavbelov. From what I understand in the zip file you sent me there are two kind of errors. Sound errors. Invalid MIT-MAGIC-COOKIE-1 keySound: AlcInit success, using OpenAL Soft Invalid MIT-MAGIC-COOKIE-1 keyInvalid MIT-MAGIC-COOKIE-1 keyInvalid MIT-MAGIC-COOKIE-1 keyUserReport written to /home/Redacted/.config/0ad/logs/userreport_hwdetect.txt Atlas errors and a warning. ** (atlas:8120): WARNING **: Invalid borders specified for theme pixmap: /usr/share/themes/Breeze/gtk-2.0/../assets/line-h.png, borders don't fit within the image GAME STARTED, ALL INIT COMPLETE [xcb] Unknown sequence number while processing queue [xcb] Most likely this is a multi-threaded client and XInitThreads has not been called [xcb] Aborting, sorry about that. pyrogenesis: xcb_io.c:259: poll_for_event: Assertion `!xcb_xlib_threads_sequence_lost' failed. Alright. We already have civilization pages but those are the manual ones. So I don't think it's a good idea to duplicate them. I guess we can go with the special buildings pages. Unless you want something like this. Any chance you can use the development version? (https://trac.wildfiregames.com/wiki/BuildInstructions) Too many art files have changed and they might have been fixed... 4. It will only matter if someone makes a custom map using it in the scenario editor @ValihrAnt @borg- maybe @Nescio
  5. When committing the Kushites I kept harsiotef as a scenario unit in case we ever needed him As for amanirenas using a chariot that's a balancing change so....
  6. Hey @Beise Sorry for the delayed answer. Can you update https://trac.wildfiregames.com/wiki/Manual_Buildings before I make the following pages? The wiki should always be more up to date in English. https://trac.wildfiregames.com/wiki/Manual_SpecialBuildings https://trac.wildfiregames.com/wiki/Translation_DE/Manual_SpecialBuildings Can you rephrase this? I'm not sure I understand?

  8. Hello everyone, This year and for the past three years 0 A.D. was holding a stand at the FOSDEM. Like every time, it was a very great experience for me, and I was happy to be able to join @Itms, @plumo, @implodedok, @FeXoR, @bb_, @Imarok, @vladislavbelov and @fabio in this adventure. This year was a bit special because I got to co-host a game dev room with the guys at Godot thanks to Akien and Straton and of course to all the people I convinced to give talks and the people that attended said talks. I think the dev room was an overall positive experience so it's great! You can find the videos here. Our room was K.3.201. Some videos might not have been uploaded yet. There were a lot of interesting talks, especially the one about the Spring engine going to Steam. I got to talk a bit with the guys at the GSOC stand and they apparently knew us, so maybe we'll be more lucky this year. I got to meet a lot of people for the first time, some of the above team members, but also @Krinkle, @balduin. I also met @oSoMoN with who we discussed a potential better usage of the Snap Packages for 0 A.D. The idea would be to offer special features to be tested as snap packages on something like Kiwit CMS. By using this specific platform we would be able to set up test scenarios for things not covered by CI and unit tests. I also had the great honor to meet with Ton Roosendal (the CEO of Blender) and Dalai Felinto. We had an informal chat at our stand about our usage of Blender. Bernard Tyers asked me to give a talk at the design dev room next year and I think I'm gonna deliver. The Raspberry Pi 4 I brought had quite a nice success as it caught the eye and people were amazed that it could run on such a low end device. A few people were interested in helping out. We are looking forward to hearing from them. Thanks for all the people who gave us donations! For those who paid for music CDs I hope you'll enjoy them. For those that could not get one you can grab it here. See you all next year, or at the next FLOSS event that we will attend which will likely be JDLL in Lyon, France.
  9. I should contact them for next year's dev room... I couldn't find the name anymore after contacting the other projects.
  10. Hey @DeadTom, Welcome to the forums and thank you for considering our engine for your mod! 1. Be patient. Modding takes a fair amount of time and it can be frustrating. Find an artist and a programmer to work with you, if you need custom features. Depending on your intent with your mod be careful with the licensed stuff you use. Don't hesitate to ask questions. We'll be happy to assist when we can. 2. You should be able to find some of the assets you mentioned in the mythology mod started by @Rolf Dew. You can find it here 3. Everytime you get an error you can read it in your log files. If it doesn't make sense to you post it here in a code block for instance and we'll help you to fix it if we can. See: https://trac.wildfiregames.com/wiki/GameDataPaths
  11. I'm not sure what you mean. Currently you can pan by putting the mouse on the edges using the WASD keys, and the arrow keys. So you'd like that when you press spacebar and move the mouse it'd also move the screen ? Here are all the existing hotkeys. https://trac.wildfiregames.com/wiki/HotKeys
  12. Can you ask them to register again ? Use lowercases names and make sure you click on store passwords. Sorry for the inconvenience.
  13. @Zeldt Try to contact @Gallaecio he should be able to help you.
  14. Animations for trees and minerals is possible but requires a huge artistic work force and some code changes. Animation for catapult projectile it is possible see the recent posts about artillery towers particle Knocking animations are something I want but it requires programming work. I believe the current implementation by @Exodarion is a bit hacky.
  15. It cannot. If someone tries to sell it, it's illegal.
  16. Yeah we are still missing the desert merchant. Not sure why actually.
  17. No it's fixed in the upcoming version.
  18. https://trac.wildfiregames.com/browser/ps/trunk/binaries/system/libvorbis.dll
  19. What I mean is there is no need to bundle it with the game when people can download it for free if they want it.
  20. Here is some feedback I hope it helps. @Victor Rossi you mean? That's good. The goal of the art license of 0 A.D. is to be shared with appropriate credits. The seleucid anchor was supposed to be committed just be @Enrique left. I guess that's why it was forgotten.
  21. So what's the issue? I dont understand what you mean? If you want to make sketches I have a lot of ideas. Do you have examples? It sounds nice (Except for the stealing part) Would you like to talk to me via IM on whatsapp?
  22. Hey, Welcome to the forums, your friend probably has a Ryzen CPU and needs to patch his game. See: https://wildfiregames.com/forum/index.php?/topic/26890-problem-with-ryzen-3000er-series/page/2/
  23. You're not ignored. I'm there but most of the Art Team is afk right now. I think you can improve the portraits more but I dont know how. So I dont want to say something stupid or lead you in the wrong direction.
