  1. In 0ad blacksmith for example, you need to wait until ranged damage 1 completes before you click ranged damage 2. I think it would reduce the unnecessary timing requirements if the next tech could be queued before the first has completed, so that it can automatically begin researching after the first is done. Keep in mind that this is not always the best way to get the techs since you would be paying further in advance for the same tech which makes it relatively more expensive, but the advantage would lie in focusing your efforts elsewhere rather than waiting for the first tech to complete and clicking the next one just in time. What do you think?

  2. What if the researcher fail to research a technology? Oh... nope... they never fail in the game. Yep also in favor of queuing. Keep in mind that if there are multiple blacksmith they should not research ranged damage 1 and ranged damage 2 at the same time.

  6. If not , would the devs be able to make a FPS out of it in a 1 week challenge ? Example : controlling an archer unit and be able to shoot arrows , reload , straf, jump ..

  9. I guess if you're an Uber Twitch gamer, this all makes sense. For the 90% of players who play single player, they're gonna wonder why tech B is now available if the required tech A isn't even done yet. Dunno, perhaps that's just inertia talking since that's just how most (all?) rtses have done it in the past.

  10. @Grautvornix you would have to have the resources available, unlike autoqueue for units. So you would still actually spend the resources when you click the upgrade if it is behind its precursor.

  15. They will be an option to vote for in next alpha's release of the community mod. @real_tabasco_sauce made some changes with them to make them less vague in the units they apply to, and changed the accuracy tech to be more conventional.

  16. my favorite theme. I can think of a list and a rationale. Mercenary camps/ Mercenary Outposts Ethinic or regional mercenary camps (the reason: simple, mercenaries give new and improved troops to the different armies). It would be good that each camp has upgrades for the featured units. For example bonus for Balearic slingers. Or another would be bonus for Numidians cavalry an armor or hp bonus (dp they call them now). I plan to make variations on this composition. 1oupost, 3 dwellings and a perimeter (wall or palisade). 2-Slave market. It is like the mercenary camp but with slaves. Here we can have war and economic units. Even exotic units like Lions. 3-Bandit hideouts. The same as the mercenary camp but with special units, they would be Outlaws type units. "Outlaws are units with a cheap coin cost, but use up more population than mercenaries". Professional assassins (bonus against heroes). Zelotes styles. Units with poison damage. Scouts with special abilities. Spies (maybe a unit that pretends to be a trader and has LoS bonus). Cultist (a religious healer and combat unit). 4-Engineers' workshop. Basically an arsenal, you can recruit an engineer, and siege machines, even unconventional machines. The engineer will be able to build siege machines. 5-Pirate port. It would be the naval mercenary version. And it will also be ethnic. 6-Citadels They will be sets of houses that will give you population and recruit units. 7-Sacred sites. There is already a post about it. Here you can capture religious sites, garrison relics and catafalques. and obviously win the game with the capture sacred sites game mode.

  17. Assuming you are the same person that talked to me on instagram, the problem is now resolved. The version that was downloaded was the x64 and not the aarch64, The package had to be approved because of the lack of the signature. There was a corruption of the installation, that was fixed by reinstalling Hope you'll have fun with the game.

  22. I recognize that this is an imitation of vinme's topic about ValihrAnt, but it took me a while to notice that you replaced "ValihrAnt" with "vinme" in the sentence. Are these types of topics cheap ways to get upvotes, which gives an increase in one's forum "reputation", or do they have some meaning or relevant circumstances that I'm missing?

  23. New update. Seeing like the "hill" makes impossible a counter attack I toned down the height. Now is more like a hill and not a mountain. xd Added special filter so that the units can not longer garrison inside the wonder. Enjoy. Will be in the lobby.
