So what? Hans farm faster because they are only 3 units on a field maximum, not 5. So they still have an advantage. -
How to install it on Ubuntu? ppa:wfg/0ad gives A26 instead. The following gave a sligthly wrong version: svn up cd build/workspaces ./update-workspaces.sh -j3 cd gcc make -j3 Whats the correct rev number and how to include it in this process?

The game would be better if bad changes wouldn't be integrated to the game. An example for such a horrible change: "Cows don't belong to villages, they lived in cities only"

Now would be bad timing, because there will be soon Alpha 27. So it can make sense to wait for that.

Pro games need to be mainland only ;)

This is wrong. Become a skilled player with a decent understanding of the game and play on Mainland, then you'll learn that champions aren't useless at all. However, traders are very bad, that's true.

So many clicks per second is very unrealistic. That would be 100 clicks per second. At another spot the side says that the record is 17 clicks per second, which is more realistic. -

A single AI is usually not a challenge, so you'd need to play against a team. Or maybe there is some mod somewhere with higher AI difficulty. -

For Widelands this is a big understatement, it lets 0AD look huge and thriving. In my opinion it's much less fun to play, but at least it has some significant advantages (no problem with performance lag, saveable and loadable multiplayer matches, replays work with loaded matches....) Both projects could learn something from each other, but Widelands should learn more from 0AD than the other way around. -

A major flaw of the game is the performance lag, and in multiplayer there are also network lag and the problem that you cannot load matches after a crash or a break. -

Alpha27 is supposed to cause less lag because of the new Vulkan stuff. It's a major change in the code of the game.

I often play matches where I team up with a medium AI against a team of 6 very hard AIs. We win in like 90%-95% of cases. What kind of being am I supposed to be? ;)

What am I Missing About the Spartans?

You seem to miss that Spartans have a unique tech for their champs which gives them more health. So they might be even stronger than Macedonian ones. And then the Leonidas hero can make them even stronger. Rank three units have (125%)^2 more health than rank 1 --> 157% One more benefit of the spartans is their team bonus: 10% extra health for spearmen... One of the best team bonuses in the game. Also, unlike Macedonians, they have citizen hoplites and the hoplite tradtion tech, this is quite powerful. However, I don't like Spartans because they lack champion cavalry and some of the benefits which Athenians have. -

Normally, the level up for melee citizens increases armor by 1, health by 25% and damage by 20% --> combined, this increases power by 67%. In the mod, armor stays the same, health increase might be 25%, damage 10% --> 38% bonus. If you don't like the building changes, feel free to make another poll -
Melee citizens have been nerfed which is bad, because for example Athens and Sparta rely on these units, as they don't have any champion cavalry. Also, for some civs the citizen spearman is the only unit which can counter cavalry well (Britons, Mauryas). Furthermore it weakens melee mercenaries even more and using them didnt seem to have been a good strategy any more. Siege units have already been rather hard to destroy, now even more. As I said, Athens have the big disadvantage to not have any champion cavalry, so it might be a mistake to nerf the Iphicrates hero. This civilization relies on him.
