I just wanted to mention that currently all our civs have slaves: as a stone gathering tech (along serfs and servants). I don't know how accurate that is. -

Small nitpick: healers are not, though I assume with their status they would usually be citizens. I agree that the terminology should be as correct as possible. -
Probably the easiest way would be to shorten the description by one or two sentences. I don't know by how many characters the languages we support usually differ from the English version.

The problem with defining profanity would persist. I consider myself to be pretty civilized, but I'm also able to use language that would make sailors and prostitutes blush. In fact my stupid pixel people are regularly the recipients of the worst insults I ever utter. I guess 'oh darn it' would be acceptable while the somewhat stronger 'oh da_n it' would not. (The forum's nanny-bot actually changes the m to an r, as I've found out...) So ~we would still have to draw lines, define what profanity is.

Remove the pop cap bonus for Mauryas and Persians. Maur are already op. Pers I guess halving it would be ok, too. What I'm sour about is how crappy the wonders are currently. If they'd get the +10 pop cap by itself back and make the 'Glorious Expansion' tech more reasonable, I'd be fine with those pop cap bonuses, because you could close the gap at least relatively. Until then, I stick with my first line.

I don't know how much you guys want to stick to the planned release. Personally I think it's fine if the release is delayed if that means bugs are fixed. For example I'm thinking about the masses of unused ships; don't know how close to a solution that is. I'll play RC3!

You want to bribe the eles??? ;P wolololo ftw! That would be nice. I think it's even worse now that you often can't even train the troops you can train from the CCs you built yourself. -

Dunno, to me that blue circle looks more round-ish than square-y. Just reverting to the previous settings (eg display rank, no placeholder) is not an option?

Technically anyone can do whatever they like. It just couldn't be included in the game, and I don't know what the limits of sharing (or 'promoting') of such a private mod would be. While we're at space-stuff: what's up with the latest changes to this site? (Like the rocket rank symbol?) And in what part of the forums would discussions about the site belong?

A25 svn-version 25810 not playable

Q&D translation: "Start a new game, svn 25810, no mods, cache emptied. Gulf of Bottnia, Giant, 8 players, all AI, no teams. During the game, following issues arise: 1. Some players, especially Gauls, build masses of ships (Gauls up to 50) 2. Some players build masses of siege rams (up to 20) 3. Kush, Cart & Ptols get nearly exterminated at the beginning, but none of the other players seem willing or able to finish them. The Romans get their traders killed one after the other, because they keep passing the leftover Kush CC. 4. After roughly half the game there's no serious attacks anymore, although some players have masses of units (Romans alone ~95 cav). 5. Finally the game crashes: The replays: 0037: no metadata.json available, probably bcs of crash 0038: no metadata.json available, game crashed immediately without starting giving following error message: 0039: Same saved game, this time without crash Saved games, same game, saved & loaded again and again: ... Summary: - too many ships being built - too many siege rams - illogical behavior (see 3.) - buildings get attacked but not defended - plethora of units available, but no attacks happen - 'dancing ships' Maybe someone has time to look at the replays/saves and explain to me what goes wrong here. This way the game's no fun anymore. Especially since this kinda stuff also happens with other maps, regardless if mods are enabled or not. Much regards from Germany, Mr.lie" hth -
