  1. You are sure you are exporting just one single mesh?
  2. Difficult to see what is happening. Standard UnitAI or a modded BuildingAI?
  3. It would definitely be unique and give them flavor to have a wooden Greek theater, something I think a lot of people didn't know was a thing. For instance, Athens' first theater was wooden as well, and only later was rebuilt in stone and marble.
  4. About the Spartan heroes... It has been suggested that we could allow for a larger roster of heroes for each of the civs, but still only allow 3 trained in any given match. Something I like for EA (DE is a different animal). This would allow, e.g., Sparta to have 5 heroes (Leonidas, Brasidas, Lysander, Agesilaus II, and Cleomenes III) available, but the player must choose which 3 they'd like to train in that match. Next match, they might train 3 different heroes, depending on what strategy they're trying to pull off.
  5. In another thread I produced evidence that Sparta has a wooden theater in Classical times. It would be interesting to still allow Sparta a Theater, but make it wooden, cost wood, and be weaker.
  6. Yes, we are aware of the Hippeis. The Olympic Champions are specifically 2 men who flank the king on either side of him in the combat line. They are garlanded and their shields depict the cult of Zeus at Dodona. But I guess we could have multiple layers of Spartiate upgrades. Spartiate -> Hippeis -> Olympic Champion
  7. They are Olympic champions and can therefore stand next to the king on the honored right flank of the phalanx.
  8. Thanks for the pics. We've had plenty of great references already supplied by the venerated @Sundiata.
  9. It's so odd that the bow strings of archer units self-illuminate. They also don't seem to animate either. Another absolute oddity is the glowing ghost people setting up Trebuchets.
  10. We are currently working on a "Roman Roads" special tech for the Romans: https://code.wildfiregames.com/D5183 It's currently merely only a movement speed tech. Building actual roads, while probably possible, would take quite a bit of effort and coordination between art and programming side. I can envision creating "Roman Road" objects for the editor and place them on maps.
  11. The DAEs are converted to PMDs at game runtime. PMDs are a streamlined and compressed version of the file. The DAEs should be available in the Trac browser though.
  12. The summary in DE is indeed bugged and I do not know how to fix it. I'd need someone to make a pull request on DE's Github repo to fix it.
  13. https://0ad.fandom.com/wiki/Cheats
  14. Wonder reference: Potential update to Persian civic center:
  15. I imagine it could be done similar to stretching out Walls.
  16. Well, you have to approach it as its own thing, almost a brand new game. Not in DE.
  17. Well, indeed. The very large range of ranged units is part of their OP.
  18. Yeah, that's kind of a problem of huge vision ranges, IMHO. DE is better in this regard.
