  2. Farmsteads are about the size of a house, so it needs to look bigger/have more props/be bigger.
  3. There's still room for quotes on the loading screen if we add something else (like map screenshots and/or player status).

  5. IRC is nice and lightweight, but in the past 20 years I've only used it for WFG. So, whatever chat solution that is chosen I will use. Because I have very little experience with chat programs, I'll refrain from giving a strong opinion.
  6. I have no notes. Looks nice. Maybe the Previous/Next buttons should be consistent with the rest of the UI. I think the loading screen tips were for something to look at as the map loads. The flip book idea is much better and allows people to browse the tips at their leisure. The loading screen should be changed to something more relevant to the upcoming match.
  7. Tried following that tut for the Aphrodite statue, remember? Got bad results, but maybe I can try it for this structure.
  8. I've noticed it before on some other minor things, but what you pointed out is a particularly egregious example. We should address that.
  9. IMHO, the game just needs some kind of singleplayer meta.
  10. Improving the Farmstead. I'm wondering if someone could bake a new AO for it. I've tried baking AO's before and mine have sucked. lol
  11. Can have a ladder to the door, but still have a stone base/first floor, while the door is on the 2nd floor.
  12. I like the Sentry Tower and how there's a ladder to get up. Maybe do the same for the Defense Tower?
  13. Right. They were of the Arrian branch of Christianity I think. Something that has since died out/evolved away.
  14. Right, the aura is already there in the unit's UI, it's just activated by the tech. So, there's no "bug" here per se, the tooltip code needs extended or something.
  15. If we can get some new shield textures, we could easily start marketing this on our social media accounts. And sadly our most active Youtubers have gone quiet over the past year or 2.

  17. Holy moly, this is how you design a civ. i am pretty inspired by this! Surely, the actual Chinese civ will probably end up quite different, but I love how he laid this all out, the thought that went into it, and the organization of it all.
  18. I think the way around this is to perhaps rename and reclassify buildings and units in the mod to file names and template classes that Petra will recognize. This is admittedly quite an inelegant solution.
  19. I think basic shields would be simple bare wood or plain white, then advanced would have player color and maybe some simpler patterns, and then elite/champion would have the more intricate patterns.
